I ordered the silver metallic with the flowers and they are so cute! I can't believe I paid $165 for them but I decided to "just do it". Luckily, besides super cute, they are really comfortable for my wide feet. I wish I could afford another pair. I ordered a 37.5 to accommodate my wide feet and they were too big so I exchanged them for a 37 and they fit perfectly.

Super comfortable. Good for older people with foot swelling. Stylish for support shoes. Very stable.

Bought these for my elderly mother. They are very comfortable and she loves them. I wish Zappos carried all of the colors.

As always with this brand I wear one-half size smaller. Super comfy-just not exactly the shoe I needed for travels to New Mexico this summer. If you want a great fitting shoe like this one order it.

After ordering many, many shoes this season from Zappos, I think I have finally found a keeper. Although pricey, this shoe checks all the boxes for the perfect travel shoe. I bought one-half size up from an older mephisto-maybe due to joint replacements on both sides or maybe advancing years. Give this shoe a try. Worth the cost for shoes that do not hurt.

I first bought these shoes in navy and loved them so I ordered them in black too. I have been battling plantar fasciitis and needed some business casual type shoes with good support and removable insoles so I could use my custom inserts. These are perfect. Note as casual looking as a sneaker but with all the comfort. They are a little pricey for my budget but proved well worth it. There was little/no break in period. I wore them to an event this past weekend for the first time and they were awesome. No rubbing or sore spots and I wore them without socks. I would love to have them in every color!

I have plantar fasciitis so I need shoes that have good support. These shoes are VERY comfortable right away. I replaced the shoe's insert with my custom insert, so I can't really comment on the support with the given insert. Fit was very comfortable.

I got these for my mom and she thinks they are AMAZING! Very comfortable during a whole day of sightseeing. She liked them so much, she bought a second pair in another color!

Great looking shoe! They fit just fine on me. I have ordered other Mephisto shoes that did not work, however I have 4 or 5 pair of Helen sandals. Thanks Zappos!

Love, love, love these! Super-cute, with enough support and stability for my feet. This is my second pair, and I'll be buying more in other colors. I get lots of compliments on these, and they look narrower than they are. With this second pair, I sized down a full size (7 vs. 8), because I usually wear a smaller size in sandals (to which these are similar), but the 7.5 didn't adjust enough to fit snugly. Note that I wear them with my custom orthotics after removing the ones that come with the shoes.

Oh, happy feet! I put these on, and my feet smiled. I have a nasty bunion on top of my foot exactly where my other shoes lace up. But, yes, these new shoes have an opening right there..set my bunion free! It's a lot of money for a rec shoe, but I'd pay pretty much anything to be pain free. I'm an over-pronator as well, so I may use another insert.

Great alternative to sneakers. Comfortable and stylish walking shoe.

These are my mother's absolute favorite shoes, and she wears them everywhere. She has them in every color! They are the "bells and whistles" Mary Janes, with even an adjustable strap across the back of the foot. Mom's leg pain is gone, ever since she discovered and began wearing these shoes. They are feminine(ish) and supportive just where needed.

I’m giving this shoe a 5-star rating because it just might be the most comfortable walking shoe ever...but with a caveat. I usually wear a size 7 -- occasionally a 6-½ -- so ordered it in a 7 which was way too big. I returned it for a 6-½ which was also overly roomy, especially in the depth. I agree with some previous reviews that the part near the ankle comes up high which caused it to rub on my ankle. This problem can be easily resolved by inserting an insole into the shoe (in my case I have orthotics) to fill in the gap...voila! Just to be sure, I walked around my house for awhile and I can honestly say these are as comfortable as one’s athletic shoes, but don’t look like you are ready for the gym. I plan to wear them to Europe as my main shoes which will include lots of walking. One more thing...they are wide, but I would say comfortably wide for walking. If you are narrow in the toe area (which I am not), they will probably be too wide for you and you might want to go one full size down.

I love these shoes!! This is probably my 4th or 5th pair of them. I was searching for a replacement for my brown ones. I have nerve pain in my leg, which sometimes gets me into some limping bouts. I use these shoes at work, when I am unable to wear a shoe with a heel. Extremely comfortable, especially when I need something nearly as comfortable as my running shoes, but a little dressier!

Great all-around sneaker with a bit of style. Adjustable back for comfort and fit. I've had this brand for years and they hold up well.

This is by far, THE BEST shoe for my feet. I have tried nearly every brand and style and this is the one that I can travel with and get through a long day of walking. I do not have the pain I suffer with when I wear other shoes for more than a few hours. This is my fourth pair of these and I will get another color or two. In other shoes I have to wear a 9.5 but in these, I wear a 9 as they run true to size. I end up in the larger size with other shoes because of my bunions etc but the Mephistos are perfect!

Red suede with mesh, size 9. I wear a 9.5 - 10, getting closer to 10 as time goes on. My feet are wide, forfoot is wide with a bunionette. The 9 fits great without socks, thinner socks would work fine. I love love love these shoes. Comfort and protection of the hardcore athletic Keens but less bulky. I would wear these with a casual skirt.

Not enough arch support for me. Runs large. I usually wear a 10 and this is 1/2 to 1 size too big I wear Mephisto shoes in many styles

Comfortable. My feet are experience the effects of age and most shoes I have to take off after a short period of time. Happily, these Allrounders stayed on all day. One slight problem: the collar of the shoe is a little higher than I am accustomed to and it did rub one ankle so I will wear taller socks until they're broken in. Hooray for Zappos who allowed me to try several sizes with free shipping until I found the best ones!

Love them and well worth the price. Inside the lid of box it said to be sure to get a size up if felt small. So I returned the size 8 and got the 8.5 I have a bunion and hammertoe on right foot so that makes the fit tricky. My feet are narrow and Zappos does not carry the narrow which would have been perfect. Fortunately, these shoes are adjustable in width and heel. They do look big but sure are comfortable! If you have difficulty with problem feet, try these!

If this shoes had come in a narrow, they might have worked. I have an orthotic and a flat foot (sort of), so there was too much room for my foot. Otherwise, great stability.
