Great little shoe - As usual, Mephisto wins awards for an excellent shoe. I've hiked 4 times in them as well as walked a lot in airports, etc. Excellent quality shoe, great look too. Could be a little more cushy in the ball of the foot, but overall I love it and will wear it on safari next month!

Cate Blanchett's character wore these shoes in Babel. Once you start wearing Mephistos--it's hard to wear anything else. Aside from bBrooks Addiction running shoes - Mephisto All Arounder is the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are so ugly that they become fashionably funky!

A winner for me! I needed a shoe that was walking comfortable, looked decent and would accommodate my orthotics. This shoe fit my needs well. I wore it on a four hour shopping trip the very first day I got it. I was amazed at how comfortable - good support and good comfort and cuter than most comparable walking shoes. Also nice that it is easy to take on and off. This is the first Mephisto I've owned and I certainly am pleased. I also was very pleased with Zappos service. My size was not available when I first looked, Zappos notified me when the shoe was available, I responded and place may order and I had the shoe two days after my initial email. Can't beat that service!!

Nice casual walking shoe - Ok, this is a great feeling shoe on your foot although honestly it looks a bit like a "glorified" walking sneaker. Anyway, it fits well, though I will definitely need to wear socks with this shoe. It fits a tiny bit wide, and I don't have narrow feel at all. Great Zappos service!

Allrounder by Mephisto - I like it - it's cute and comfortable - a little nicer looking than a sneaker or tennis shoe, but still comfortable for walking.

SHOES LOVER - Comfortable & Fashion shoes to walk up to 6 miles I ordered in black, and now I have to buy another one in Green/tan, couldn't resist the temptation!!!!

Bought the shoes for a trip to Europe for walking. I ordered size 41, since I wear that in Danskos, but the 41 in this shoe was much larger than Danskos 41. I called Zappos and they sent me a new pair in size 40 overnight shipping that day to make sure I got it before I left on my trip! The shoes feel great, with or without socks. Very comfortable, walked for miles. Great for airport (easy on and off for security checks). Zappos is the best, great customer service and great selection of great shoes!!!

Cute and Comfy - I am wearing these shoes for the first time and love them. I got them in preparation for a trip which will involve some light hiking. They are lightweight, easily packable, and offer all the support and traction I need. Love 'em!

Great alternative to the stark white athletic shoe - I need a shoe with good support for a full day on my feet, and I wanted something other than the bright white athletic models available locally. This shoe is comfortable from the minute you put it on, and I especially like the fact that it is adjustable AROUND THE HEEL as well as across the instep.

Definitely an all around good shoe - After a hip injury I didn't have a lot of options in terms of shoes to wear for business or travel. I purchased this shoe to get me through a long business conference, plane rides, and security checks in style. The All-rounder definitely lived up to its name. They look cute with dress pants, jeans, capris and casual skirts. The big bonus for people with small heels like me is that the heel is adjustable with a velcro strap ensuring a snug but not blistering fit. I hesitated to buy this shoe because it seemed quite overpriced, but the support, comfort, looks and quality have made them worth the investment.

All rounder - This is a great walking shoe - it’s comfortable and looks good. Mephisto generally runs a half size larger than marked. The shoe can be adjusted for a good fit with the velcro tabs.

A versatile shoe - Velcro closure makes this a good airport shoe, and it's very comfortable. I have four pairs of these - different colors. The sole is heavy enough and textured enough to be suitable for rough walking surfaces, but the shoe does not look "clunky". It is light weight and flexible.

WOW! For years my back killed me. My feet were fine. I never thought my pain would be about the sexy little shoes I wore. Planning a trip and not wanting to stand out as 'American' in light sneakers, I bought these shoes. They did what the doctors, massage therapist, exercise couldn't-they keep me pain free all day! They are cute and I feel 'cool' in them. With a black sock; they're a boot. With a white sock they're Mary Jane’s! Without a sock I'm just as comfortable. Thank you, Mephisto.

Vacation shoe - I wanted to buy a comfortable shoe for my family's vacation to Morocco this summer. I've worn it twice so far. So far, so good.

Love them! This paid makes my 7th or 8th pair of this style of shoe. I have so many favorable comments about them. I wear them to work and on the weekends. Our business is very casual so they work well with slacks. I am really happy I saw them in Las Vegas and bought the first pair.

On and Off in Japan - I recently took a two-week trip to Japan and was looking for ONE pair of shoes I could take which were easy on/off (in Japan you are constantly taking your shoes off!) I also needed for them to be very comfortable, as I would be doing a lot of walking. These were my choice, and they were perfect travel shoes. I wore them with a pair of black pants for my dressy outfit, and with jeans and comfy pants for everyday. I got caught in a major downpour and my feet got soaked, but the shoes dried easily with my hairdryer. My orthotics fit easily, so I had extra support. Now if I can just manage to purchase some other colors! Wish they weren't so pricy!

I really like them - At first I was skeptical about the look, but they look really nice on my size 10.5 E shoe size. My foot is slender with a high arch. They are also very comfortable for walking. I walk about three hours a week, up and down hills. I have also taken them to the Point Lobos trails, and the beach and they were fine. The only draw back is that little rocks get into them through the large openings.

Order down 1/2 size in the metallic colors - For some resaon the metallics run larger. I have an older pair of these in red. The silver metallics in the same size were at least 1/2 size larger. I returned then for another pair in the suede and they fit fine.

Doesn't deliver the hi-tech support its design promises - This is more of a comfort sneaker-type shoe although it looks like a hi-tech walking shoe. It's more of a comfy, sneaker kind of fit, not a modern, hi-tech supportive shoe for walking. I sometimes put my orthotic in if I need to do a lot of walking although I mainly put these on for all-purpose wear around the house, garden and for general errands. If you are looking for a good travel shoe to walk on cobblestones in Europe and thru museums, this will not deliver enough support despite the design and the Mephisto name. The material cleans up well, even if it gets muddy, but the look is a bit big and clunky, plus the arch support is quite soft.

Best shoe I've worn in a long time - These shoes are very comfortable, I've had my eye on this style for a while now and just couldn't resist the lower price than in the stores and the free shipping (to and from). The shoe ran a 1/2 size larger, had to return the first pair and the helpful operator had a new pair delivered within a few days! This has been a good experience and would purchase again from Zappos.

Unbelievable! I now own this style shoe in 5 different colors! After having had foot surgery (Morton's neuroma) in August, I searched for a comfortable shoe that would also accommodate an orthotic insole; this was it!! They're comfortable, stylish, and versatile. Couldn't do without them now.

My favorite shoe ever! The Mephisto All-Rounder is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, even better than the Sass oxfords. I especially like the Mephisto because they are stylish. I get many comments on them and wish I could afford a few more pair in different colors. A great shoe overall.

Very Comfortable Shoe! This shoe is very comfortable and I love the Velcro straps for easy on & off and also adjusting the fit. However, I have a narrow foot and this shoe is a little wide for me even when I adjust the straps as tight as possible. So, if your foot is medium width this is the shoe for you... but on the other hand if your foot is narrow you might want to think twice.

Allrounder by Mephisto - Great shoes -- super comfortable and very stylish! After having read the reviews, I was conflicted about what size to order and decided to go for my regular shoe size. Well--the shoes fit perfectly from the moment I put them on. Just one thing I was somewhat disappointed in is that there is not a lot of arch support for my flat feet. However, I have worn these shoes enough times by now and this issue has not caused a problem for me.
