My son recently had foot surgery and was in a wheelchair for 3 months. When he was fitted for his AFOs I didn't realize hard it would to find shoes that fit him when he wore his braces. I'm thankful for Billy shoes, they have given him his independence back!

I purchased these shoes for my 90 year old dad who has a brace from foot to they. He had so much trouble getting his foot into shoes it could take up to a 1/2 hour for this process He had no one to help him, now it takes less then 5 mins for him to get his shoe on. God bless Billy he has changed my dads struggles into sheer joy!!! I wish I found them 6 months ago, he has shared with his PT and OT and they are thrilled with the shoes. I have MND with limited hand use so these work really well for me. Great that the laces can be adjusted for width. The EEE are so good for wide feet. Only downside is that they are a little heavy on my feet especially as I have less strength in my legs with MND

Greatshoe i use mine for outdoor use the hold up well to the abuse i put them through.

I ordered these because my first pair are ladies 10 double wide and I need something wider. These do accommodate my AFO's better and look good for guy shoes (probably why I got them on clearance) but the zipper is too high on the bridge of the foot. I struggle to get the toes in as my AFO's go the full length of my feet. Once on, they're great.

These help my husband who has a drop foot brace to contend with. We are going to buy one more pair now. I wish there was telephone fitting help. Also, one of the zippers is really hard to put.

The shoes were a little heavier than my usual shoes. This makes it a little harder to walk . I did like the zip up closure.

The new zipper closer to the laces vs near the toe is working well with my son's AFO. Zipping these up are a bit tougher as we don't like to tie up the laces each time, we shall see how they hold up for longevity overtime with the zipper. They look great!

This is a great shoe for my husband easy on and off. However the fabric is the worst. Picks up everything, cat hair, dust, everything sticks to them. We have 3 pair and all do the same.

Comfortable shoe. Somewhat heavy. Wish the zipper was metal as the nylon one is sticky and difficult for my husband to zip with the neuropathy in his hands.

Ordered for the first time didn't know the sizes and the TheWidth of the shoe unfortunately did not know that they were unfortunately it was a waste of my money things I'm here I'm stuck with something I can't wear no return

There are way to small. I cannot get the zipper to close. I went one size up when ordering.

I always buy men's 10 regular/D width when I buy men's shoes. These are not wide enough and hurt the inside edges of my big toes. I have NO idea why. These look wider than my low Converse which don't hurt me at all. These should be perfect. I'm thinking I'll try the wider width...Not sure yet.

bought two pair One blue Pair One black pair. Black pair zipper broke in 2 days. Have had no problems with the blue pair

My review is for this specific shoot only. Let me start by saying that this is the fourth shoe that I have owned from Billy and all others have been great. I put the shoes on and they looked great, but after five minutes of walking around in the house, the zipper broke. I did not even get to wear them outside. Since they are final sale, there is nothing I can do. I just lost money on unusable/unwearable shoes. Not the quality that I am used to from any of my other Billy shoes.

The cut of the blue pair is different, it does not open entirely. The zipper does not open the whole top of the shoe allowing my foot and AFO to "step" into the shoe. Why the different design?

This is the second pair I ordered for my son, thinking they opened up the same way, they only open half way up the shoe. Does not work with his AROs. It not returnable so very disappointed. Liked the other shoe we bought way better.
