They came in a Skechers box. They were dirty and scuffed up. Someone returned these. They were dirty on the inside too.

This is a tough review to write. This shoe would get 5 Stars straight across - it is by far the best-fitting, most comfortable shoe I have ever bought. Ever. It feels as if I went to the factory and they built this shoe from the bottom up around my foot. The width, toe box and heel fit my foot perfectly. The cushioning is really cloud-like. Here's why I can't give this shoe 5 Stars: there's a silly mesh on the outside of the shoes that is made of the flimsiest of monofilaments. And after only five or six days, the mesh on my left shoe is beginning to tear and disintegrate. In fairness to Spira, I believe the damage is being caused by the way I position my left foot on the floor mat while driving. BUT STILL, c'mon, Spira! If you're going to add a mesh for design and function, make sure it functions!

With the money I spent on these, they should have lasted me two years at least. However, within the first week the insole started to fall apart, leaving jagged holes all over the inside of them. They’re basically garbage now. With the money I spent on these, I could have bought three pairs of New Balance.

I was excited to see that another manufacturer other than New Balance had a 6E shoe. Plus, I'd heard that Spiras were a decent shoe with "springs" in the sole. Oh well, I'll never because the fit was HORRID!! Way, WAYYYYYYYYYYY too tight for a 6E and darn near a full size too short. Indeed, I can ever recall buying a shoe which fit so terribly. I literally could not get my foot fully inside the shoe, even with loosening the laces altogether. These are going back, post haste. And I shall nbever try a Spira again.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance.
