how the heck do you insert the straw so that it works? feeling seriously water challenge

Awesome cap. The straw is perfect and it seals well.

So easy to use and to clean. Doesnt leak AT ALL!

I wish it came with the straw cap. But I love the color!

Using this cap is so much easier than removing the entire cap to drink. One criticism is that unless (and sometimes even when you leave the spout in the open position after filling)you leave the spout open as you are re-screwing the cap on after filling, their is resistance not allowing the water to be moved up the straw. Otherwise, perfect addition to my hydro flask.

This was a warranty replacement lid for the original lid that started leaking. Although I did have to do some digging/research for the original purchase date, Hydro Flask is true to their word/warranty and replaced the lid for free. Very happy that I can use my Hydro Flask bottle again and not have it leak all over everything!

Easier to use flask without needing to unscrew cap in order to take a drink. It does appear that directions result in cutting straw too short.

Half of time I have to open and close multiple times to get the straw to work as it is pulling in air and not working. Need to send back I suppose...

I love this new cap. The straw is firm and easily goes into the bottle when ice inside.

Much better cap than the one I got first! So easy to manipulate... love it!

We purchased the bottle a while back. Recently purchased the straw lid but it leaked. I reached out via facebook and you guys replaced the straw lid very quickly! Thank you for standing behind your awesome products!!!!

The new mouth flex straw is great. Nice to see dishwasher safe.

This product is durable.

Build quality is excellent! But would change 2 things, regarding the accessories. The red gasket in the flex straw cap should be black or non apparent. And the rubber boot, sold as black, is a very dark blue. Other than those minor details, an unexpected excellent buy overall

Send in claim for the broken lid, turn around is fast and satisfactory, they are company that stand behind their product and warranty.

Bought prior to this as well but this newest one leaks. Seems like the red rubber part is slightly too small for the plastic housing.
