Beautiful boot! It was just what I was looking for, but sadly I had to return. There’s no side zip and even with a shoe horn it is just too difficult to get on. Once your foot is in, it feels like Frye’s craftsmanship.

I have short, wide feet (American size 6.5 D) with a low arch. I typically buy up one full size (size 7.5) to get some more room in the toe box of my shoes. The size 7.5 B width felt great when I first put them on. The heel is actually a little large even with medium-width socks on, but I like some "float" in the heel when I walk, so that suits me really well. The leather is a bit stiff and feels like it will need a few wearings to break in, but I can tell after just a few hours of wear that these will break in really nicely. The shank of the boot feels comfortable and flexible right out of the box. The soles have enough grip that I feel secure walking around in them, but they *are* a little slick compared to, say, Blundstone paddock boots, police boots, Redwings or trail running shoes, which is to say that it's not a full lug sole, but it's plenty adequate for a non-work boot or shoes not specifically made for sloppy trail conditions. The quality of the leather and the stitching are gorgeous and completely what I expect from the Frye brand.

Fit is comfortable a bit narrow had to exchange from normal 8.5 to 8. The leather is in great quality and excited to have new fall/winter boots

I have narrow feet and this felt big at the middle of the foot. There was a lot of space between the top of my foot and the inside of the boot.

I ordered an 8 which is my regular size. It was a little too big so I exchanged for a 7 1/2 and they fit perfectly. They are very nice and I hope to get a lot of use out of them. Based on my experience, I would say go down a half size.

Typical size 8 in almost all boots/shoes, purchased size 8 and fit true to size. Nice quality and comfort level feels like no real “break in” period will be necessary with the fit and leather. Happy with this purchase.

This boot has no zipper and is very difficult to force foot in it. The tiny loop-tab in the back is too small to assist in the pull-on. i found the quality of the leather to be very thin and lacking in the rich burnished finish of my older Frye boots. For these reasons I will not keep them.
