Giving up on Vera Bradley after all these years...they replaced the cute ribbon pulls with plastic ones..the second zipper on the bag looked hideous..the quality doesn't justify the prices anymore.

When I watched the video for this purse, it looked 3x the size, not happy at all

I have carried the little hipster for several years and love it. This was my first RFID purchase, I HATE it. The strap is more narrow than the original, making it uncomfortable.The zipper on the front is now a big ugly metal zipper. There is no magnet on the back pocket. I ordered from the online outlet sale, if I had seen it in person, I would not have purchased it.

I just purchased my third Little Hipster in Bramble. It is beautiful, and I bought a backpack in the same pattern to match for traveling. However, you have changed the zipper to an ugly metal zipper. Not only do I not like the appearance, it does not zip open easily like the previous nylon zipper. It does not slide easily, and sort of jams as you are opening it, so you have to make a big effort. Not great when you want to quickly grab a few bills to pay a skycap a tip. I am going to have to buy some product that makes zippers easier to slide. I have been purchasing Vera Bradley bags since the 1980's. They are all I ever use. It was a bad decision to change this wonderful little bag.

I have been carrying this style for a few years now- love that it is light weight but still holds everything I need. The quality of the last one I ordered is definitely not up to Vera Bradley's past standards.The strap is different and the tags and emblem on the front are not as nice. Really disappointed.

The snap opens frequently on its own, so if you are carrying your keys by the wristlet, you could lose them. I only dropped mine once before I stopped using this and found something better. This should be designed with the wristlet loop sewn closed for security.

I am a loyal vera Bradley purse buyer. I love the mini hipster but it is losing all is awesome qualities. The purse is the same price but much cheaper.

I was so excited to find this cute bag that matched my coat perfectly. But I went to zip it.closed 3 weeks after purchasing and the zipper pull came off. I have owned several of this style of bag over the years and have used them till they wear out. The stitching quality on this one isn't as good as my older bags and the zipper pull made out of ribbon has never been a problem... I am terribly disappointed while I try to find something else to hook on my purse so I can use the zipper! Not even sure if I can return it for a new one.

I have had 4 Little hipsters. They have a full zipper on the credit card section, which has more credit card pockets. They have a magnetic closure on the cell phone pocket. They are slightly smaller. I love them. None of theses features are available on this bag. I had no idea the design had been changed. This bag is a disaster.

Size is nice but strap is terrible. It's not long enough and the way it's attached is terrible it does not lay flat. Very disappointed.

It was my go to purse for everything before I bought this one... and this was my birthday present from Vera. What is happening to Vera Bradley? It looks like a cheap copy of the original one. I do not know if I can truly express my disappointment from the different zipper on the front pocket and lack of magnet on back and more. Zippers do not open far enough to utilize the space provided. Not Good cheapened a really good item.

Don't know why they designed it! They took away the zip compartment under the flap and now only has three slots on only one side. Very limited now for cards and secure storage. Wish they would go back to old design.

So very disappointed. I received this bag with a very wrinkled and ill fitting liner in major section. There is no charger pocket as shown in description photo. The zipper on the wallet section is metal, not plastic, and therefore difficult to use when you want to grab a credit card for payment, does not work smoothly. It seems that every time I fall in love with a style, Vera discontinues that style. Loved my Double zipper little hipster, no longer made...... Cannot remember the name of the ones before that.

The product is so much different from their previous purses. These zippers are huge and shoe through wide and ugly. The back pocket is not as open and less space. The front are where you put your ID and credit cards does not open as fully. Inside the purse they used a nice zipper. Although I don't intend to use it until winter I will not purchase another one until they return to making the older style again. I have 3 bags in various patterns of the older style...and they are much better. You can tell product quality has decreased with this item. I am glad I got this on sale for $29 including shipping. I would not pay full price for the product.

I was very disappointed in this bag. It is way smaller than expected. The main thing is that is concerning to me is that there is only room for about two items and that's it! The price is way too high for this!!

I'm giving one star because I like the pattern. However, quality has sunk to a new low with this new Iconic version. The nylon zipper has a curl to it that keeps the purse from closing straight. Metal zipper doesn't work well, and looks out of place. Straps are narrower and chintzy quality. No magnetic closure on outside slip pocket, it gaps open, even when empty. Charging pocket is too small for any charger, except the Vera charger, I assume. I'm not a happy camper, and won't be purchasing any Vera Bradley bags EVER.

The Little Hipster has been my favorite for years. I have at least ten old ones. Just purchased a new one in Indigo. What did you do to this great bag and why? The side pouch without the magnet is terrible as it hangs open all the time. I don't feel safe having my phone in it anymore. The strap is not the same and is in need of adjusting all the time. The zippers do not match and the metal one on the front does not work properly and is really rough. This is an example of the saying If its not broken don't fix it. I want to return this and will need to find something to replace the perfect bag for me. Please reconsider this poor design.

I bought this bag in Modern Medley. I like the pattern. I've read other negative reviews and always thought it was just a matter of comparing to the old versions and not liking the fact that things were changing. I was wrong. Not even comparing to my previous versions of this bag, it is poor quality, like something I could get at a flea market! The zippers don't match each other, the metal zipper doesn't work well, the nylon zipper has a curve to it so the purse doesn't lie or hang straight. The outside slip pocket has no magnetic closure so it gaps open. The charging pocket is useless because none of my chargers fit in the pocket! The strap is quite narrow and flimsy. I have to spend time straightening it out many times when I'm carrying it. I will not be buying any more Vera Bradley bags. They are not worth the money, at all! I'm very disappointed.

I seen this in a store today and said to my mom, that's not even a Vera Bradley however after looking closer we see it was. I think I have 15 of these bags. I won't be buying again until they change. The last change was bad enough when you removed 2 credit card slots, removed the drivers license slot, removed the magnet on the outside pocket and stitched the pocket shut 1 on each side making it harder to get bigger phones in the pocket. Now when I seen the new one it looked so cheap. There were no Vera Bradley signature pulls on the zipper, the 2 zippers don't match, one is bulky metal, and the metal zipper is shorter making the wallet area harder to get into and now it has the scratching metal zipper. Over all quality seemed poor to the point I didn't even think it was Vera. I walk with a cane and this bag was perfect for me. I'm not weighted down by it and it's the perfect length. I can get in and out of it easy. Please bring back the old one. I won't be buying any more.

Love the style; however, not the quality! Unfortunately, after daily wear for about a month, the snap broke.

Please go back to the old version. The old version was perfect! I don't like the thick strap on the new version, it is uncomfortable. The battery pack rivot scratched my phone. The battery pocket is wasted space. I miss the coin zipper compartment.

I have a lot of the 'Little Hipster' crossbody bags, but with the changes to the 'iconic' version of it I won't be buying more of them. I absolutely loved these bags but now there is no magnet on the outside pocket and the outer edges are now stitched down on each side allowing less access to the pocket. The magnet was the best thing about the outside pocket! I am so sad about these changes because I was going to buy a couple more because of new patterns. Love the Winter Berry especially but when I received it, I returned it right away because of the changes. I hope the original style comes back so I can buy more 'Little Hipster' bags again. Definitely not an improvement as far as I'm concerned.

I loved the old version of this purse. I have several of them in a variety of patterns and was excited to buy more, only to be disappointed. Why did you change the strap? It looks so cheap and uncomfortable. I loved the old one! And I'm horrified to see the drivers license pouch moved to the underflap where it can fall out. The old purse was absolute perfection. Please change it back. I won't be buying this again after all.

Stiff, bulky strap and metal zipper are horrible!!
