I need flat, zero-drop shoes for casual everyday wear. I used to love wearing Vans, but my feet have grown wider over the years and now they're too narrow. I thought the Authentic Wide might work -- sadly, it does not. If you have a D-width foot, these shoes might be perfect for you. My 2E (female) feet are just too wide for them. Also would've liked a bit more cushioning for my (ahem!) older feet. As wide shoes go, these really aren't very wide. As you can see in the pics, these are about a "pinky toe" too narrow for my feet. It's my understanding that shoe companies including Vans are making shoes smaller to save on costs and maximize their profits. Unfortunately, we consumers are the ones who pay the price in cramped toes, cramped feet, deformities like bunions, and other foot ills like plantar fasciopathy.

Need more wide options, or at least more colors

These are great shoes to use as your daily's. I got the wide ones because I wear them to work & it's less on my feet when I'm constantly going. Love em!

I don't have much words to say how comfy these shoes are! Definitely worth buying again

The shoe itself was of fine quality. However, it was not wide enough--my foot was bursting out the side of the shoe's sole. According to a measuring device, I'm an EEE wide; so perhaps, shouldn't be a surprise. If you are an ever-so slightly wide/E size, I can picture this fitting.

These shoes have the exact same width as my normal (non-wide) vans. Was hoping to be able to keep wearing vans with some of the foot issues I'm experiencing, but unfortunately I will have to look elsewhere! Don't buy these if you actually need a wide shoe.

Defective insole and will need to be returned. Slightly irritated by the return process (not an exchange, so need to order another pair and wait for a refund) which does not ask for any information so someone else doesn't end up with this pair.

I love Aithentics and have worn them for years. This particular pair I bought these for my 15yo son to wear for dress shoes. He has a wider foot, so finding this shoe in a wide worked perfectly. #sweepstakes

I ordered this pair to customize them with paintings and drawings. They are the perfect canvas. Ordered wide so they wouldn't feel too snug or uncomfortable on my husband's feet. Super happy Vans offers wide option since my husband stopped wearing his previous pairs due to them being too tight. He loves this custom pair!
