I use them for work because I am a teacher. They are great because of the color and they are comfortable. They are not great because there is a white line showing on top of the seam where you put the shoe strings in the shoe.

The stiching cuts through into the inside of the shoe and constantly causes blisters etc. These shoes were not made for walking

Ordered a custom pair of old school vans. Waited weeks for delivery only to be disappointed. The shoes seem cheap, even for vans standards. Generic/ off brand quality. The shoes aren't wide despite being labeled as such. I'm guessing this shoe is a redesign of the old school shoe. It's not really suited for wide feet. Pointy toe box and the laces are too close together. I think they are trying to save on material by going slim. It seems like design is inspired by Converse. I should have just stuck with the slip-on in wide. It seems to be the only somewhat comfortable pair of vans I can wear anymore. Vans is more preoccupied with being trendy or diversity politics rather than making a half decent skate shoe. I don't have time to exchange these so I guess I'm stuck with them until they fall apart which I'm sure won't be long.

When I ordered these shoes, I didn't realize that vans is producing a lower quality version of their original old skool shoes that has canvas instead of leather. These don't fit as well and are not as comfortable. I recommend spending $10 more and buying the skate version.

Shocked these ones left the factory. 1st time buying off the website and I would've thought they'd be in perfect condition. Disappointed in such a profitable company charging these prices for this product.

Bought Old Skool shoes for my grandson. He needed a size larger. Called customer care and they refused to return and rebuy the exact purchase and the same price. Basically I purchased them on sale and in order to return and rebuy I would have to pay full price and NOT get the sale price.

For some dumb reason the liner of this shoe is white. Not sure why such an oversight was made, if youre going to make an all black shoe, why make the liner white?

I started buying these two at a time because the sole becomes unglued after the first month. The flex point at the toe box is the culprit and the glue used is terrible. The wide width is perfect for me and the shoes are comfortable which is why I continue to buy them. Build quality needs to be improved.

Okay so these are not special models made for wide feet. These are regular width vans with extra canvas for people who are obese and have extra fat on their feet. Super misleading. I compared these to my regular vans and the footbed is the exact same size as my regular vans.

I ordered old school black 9.5 wide and the right one is visibly smaller than the left. I need to exchange them but I'm in Oregon now and will return to Florida on the 23rd. Vans store is a pain to get to it's too far but I will go

We buy a lot of vans shoes between the 4 of us in our family, but this pair has fallen apart after less than 2 months of light wear. I'm absolutely appalled by the quality, this is NOT what we are used to when it comes to vans. The fabric is *completely* separating from the rubber sole in various places, as well as the rubber border around the sides of the shoe separating from the bottom of the shoe. As in this isn't one small area, it's happening throughout most of the shoe.

As soon as I started wearing them, they caused my ankles to bleed, but even after I "broke them in", the cheap and uncomfortable heel broke. What a waste.

You only offer a sale price for people with normal width feet so people with large feet have to pay more

The quality on these are horrible bring back the comfy cush. They were more comfortable.

I've been wearing Vans as long as I can remember. Got these because I couldn't find the comfort classics. These arrived and felt very cheap, and gave me blisters on the first day. Not the vibe!!

I didn't like that my shoes arrived dirty! This was shocking! It looks like its used or second hand! I am really disappointed that you send items in this conditions to customers!
