I just received the shoes and am very happy with the fit. Good for folks that have a wide toe box area. For reference I wear Adidas UB20 in a size 8.5, and New Balance running shoes in a size 8 wide (2E) and found that 7.5 Wide in these Vans fit like a glove. Not much wiggle room but comfy where your feet won't slide around. I had a pair of sk-8 His in a size 8 and felt that it was too roomy. Hope this helps other buyers on sizing.

Well it's a Christmas gift to myself but I will enjoy these shoes and Van's had a wonderful black Friday deal .

Very happy with these shoes. Extremely comfortable and durable. Tend to burn shoes quickly and these stand up well to daily wear. Great shoes

These fit really comfortably after a couple of days of breaking them in. My estimated size was a 7.5 Womens but I sized up to an 8 Womens and they fit perfectly.

My husband finally has vans that he can wear! He has been waiting a very long time for this, and is excited! Please add more colors in the near future! We will buy them all!

I'm over 40 and getting back on a skateboard after 25-30 years of life distractions. I am so happy to see that Vans offers a wide selection for skating shoes. They are one of the only shoe companies that make wide shoes explicitly for skaters. Please Vans, release even more styles under the WIDE label.

I was excited to try wide width vans! The regular width is kind of snug and the wide fit perfectly! I wish there were more options to choose from without having to do custom though. I will definitely be buying more styles in wide width.

I have a hard time finding wide shoes is styles that are cute and these are perfect. Please extend your wide styles!

I love the wide option. Size 8 was always was just too tight and 8.5 I would slide around inside the shoe. The wide option is perfect!

For over a decade, the only sneaker I wear is Vans Old Skool. Year after year. They wear out, I buy another pair in the same size and color. This is the first time I've purchased online and saw they had a wide width. I bought a pair. THEY'RE AMAZING! Now, make them in the green, brown, yellow and corduroy. I'll take them all.

I love that the Old Skool is available in WIDE! Plenty of room in the toe box. Hope you keep adding more styles in this width.

Always liked classic Vans and I wish they were more durable. But the fact that this is offered in wide is the reason I keep back. I just wish they sold these in stores. #sweepstakes

Unfortunately since I have 1 wider foot than the other, I require the basic Van styles. The cut on the black and black style is okay, but it does not seem to be done as well compared to its sister style that is black and white. I would not recommend thicker socks, or going up one more half in this shoe because it fits only perfectly when wearing no show or thinner socks.

Hello! I bought this particular pair for weightlifting. (Squats in general). Right out the box they feel GREAT! Sometimes plain and simple without overcomplicating a shoe is the best solution! I tried other weightlifting shoes and I can tell these are going to be durable and stable. I hope the canvas holds up with the aggressive use im going to put these through, (lateral movements, jumps, squats etc). Too early to tell now but I can tell if they hold up these will be my primary weightlifting shoe. I wish they made an all LEATHER WIDE! As far as the fit, these are a 9 WIDE and the wideness is absolutely perfect and the length is true to size. The only drawback is when I walk, there's a squishy feeling and sound coming from the back of both heels, im hoping this goes away when broken in. Also, the laces are too long, they're touching the floor. Other then this, I can't wait to work these hard in my workouts. These should be advertised as weightlifting shoes as well! Ill let you know how they hold up when lifting. Thanks Vans for your simple, but effective design of this shoe, also please make a leather version in WIDE, shorten the laces and fix the squishy feeling / noise in the back and this shoe will be absolutely perfect! Thanks again.

Not sure if the all black shoes have always been like this bc this is my first pair, but where the shoe fabric ends is raw & unfinished, so the white material shows through underneath. Looks terrible to have 2 white stripes of unhemmed fabric. I've worn vans for years & never noticed any other shoe like this, bring back wide shoes so I can pick which shoes i buy & see flaws beforehand
