I’m frustrated. I keep searching for lace up boots without a side zipper. Why the redundancy? Imo adding a zipper to a functional lace up boot completely ruins the look. On first glance this boot was exactly what I was looking for….sleek and stylish… then I found the zipper. Gahhh! The Comfortiva “Cordelia” - same result. Clarks, please, oh puhleeze… make a boot like this without a zipper.

I waited a while before I purchased these boots because Zappos was always out of stock, which is a good thing; they're no joke. They're real leather with a stiff sole, a solid heel, and great ankle support. It's going to take time to fully break them in, but they're worth it. These boots will protect your feet while slaying! Just prepare yourself for breaking them in - it's work.

These ankle high boots are so comfortable. I haven't been able to wear shoe/boots with much of any heel height for almost 20 years due to replacement of both knees and hips. These felt great and looked great! They were easy to get on and off and actually felt like they gave me more support.

I am so pleased with these boots. I have wide E-width feet at the toes and flat feet. Usually can't find an E width and the EE width is huge in the heel and ankle opening. This boot gave me plenty of wiggle room in the toebox with the D width and the laces can tighten up the ankle. The zipper is perfect for getting them on and off. The leather is attractive and relatively soft to start with. I wore them the first few times with the zipper down just a bit to break in the ankle area, and now they fit perfectly. I bought this set of boots as a second pair to the suede ones I bought first. Might buy a third pair.

I have wide feet, and these shoes feel super comfortable while still looking stylish. The zipper is great because I got the perfect "fit" by adjusting the shoelaces the first time, and then I keep that same fit each time I put the shoes on again. I wore these for ~10 hours the first day and they were comfortable right away.

I was having trouble finding shoes or boots that were wide enough for me. I am a true E width but am thrilled when I find a comfortable D width. I wanted the black leather boots but read reviews that they needed breaking in so I opted for the tan suede as I figured they would be softer. And they are! I am pleasantly surprised that they are wide enough and don't need a break-in period. They are super comfortable, look great, and are of good quality. I have also just ordered them in black. :)

These are beautiful boots that were well packaged. Unfortunately, they were much too large. The leather was also stiffer than I expected. The dark tan is a great color, and they looked stylish in my opinion. The toe box was fine, if a bit big, but the upper was much too large over the middle of my foot. I have a 9 in some other Clarks boots that fit great, so I'm not sure if these run larger of if it was just due to being a 'WIDE' which I wanted for the extra room in the toes.

I loved the way these looked until I tried them on. The upper portion was so stiff and awkward that when I walked around in them it sort of folded over on itself, did not look or feel good. I did try a wide width so maybe they were just too big for me. They also have no arch and no tread.

These are great quality and style, but they were just too wide for my skinny feet. They’re medium width, just not on the narrow side of medium. The light pebble color is very nice.

I love these bottles. They fit true to size and the look is great, especially with cropped pants. The only question is that I could feel the top of these hitting the backs of my legs. Not a problem yet but if I wear them for a longer period of time could become an issue.

Really nice, just too big

I am somewhere between sizes. Most of the time I'm a 9; on limited occasions I can fit into an 8.5. I bought a 9 in these and they were huge; I'm absolutely an 8.5. I swapped them out and now they're great. So if you're like me - size down. They are so cute - SO CUTE - in person. Love them. On your foot - very comfortable. Definitely consistent with the Clarks brand. I've worn boots forever and have never needed boot socks. Ever. But with these I lasted 15 minutes before they started rubbing my leg uncomfortably. Within an hour I had uncomfortable blisters, and they weren't laced tightly or anything. So buy socks or have them at the ready. These are great. I love them. I'll just always wear boot socks with them. They're just stiff. All good.

Material around the ankle is a bit too stiff for me to break in. Really look good but heavier weight than I need.

Although these boots are a perfect fit, the overall style is too close to a combat boot. I was hoping for a slightly elevated, more streamlined look - in fact the pictures looked like that - a fashionable take on a combat boot. But in a larger size, the heaviness of the style is undeniable.

Comfortable, but the arch support felt like it was in the wrong place—-middle of my foot, not under the arch. Not sure it was “bad”, didn’t hurt, but felt odd. The shaft was too high on my ankle for what I wanted. Handsome boots, but not for me.

These boots are beautiful but the leather is very stiff which made it clumsy for me to walk in. The height of the boots hits my shin at just the wrong place too, and with the leather being so stiff there was no flexibility for walking up and down stairs in particular. I wish they would have been more comfortable because they are so pretty.

Oh my gosh I do love these shoes. They are very stiff leather so they would take some breaking in but they are definitely too big. I am always a size 9 almost consistently and these are at the very minimum half size too long. They are more narrow than I would typically prefer, but I'm going to try the eight and a half to see how they do. They are very well made and the inside is very squishy and wonderful

Great style but these boots were not as wide as other wide boots that I have had in the past from Clarks. I ordered 9.5W. Basically, the forefoot/toe area was snug. Insole was not as comfortable as others either. I decided against keeping them to see if they stretch out to become comfortable over time, Returning.

I have to wear inserts and the insole was unremovable.

I wear anywhere from a 10 to an 11 depending on the brand, but this Clarks size 11 I ordered was definitely too big for me. I thought about sizing down but there were other things about this boot that bothered me. The boot upper, starting at the ankle, was very rigid and sort of folded/bent over when I walked in them, which didn't look good (this might have been because they were big on me, but it seemed more like a material issue). There was also little to no arch support and no tread.

I’m returning these boots, because they are very stiff, and would irritate the back of my lower leg. This also makes them hard to put on.

The top of the boot was stiff, thereby, rubbing my shin. However, it was wonderful not to have to unlace the ties to put on the boot. One just uses the zipper. Even with a very thick sock, the boot was too wide.

I ordered a wide width and it fit well but when I would walk it would dig into my foot where it bends. The shaft also dug in to my leg when I walked. They are very nicely made but I think the leather is a little too stiff.

The shoes were true to size. The leather was VERY stiff and had a dull appearance. Most importantly, they were very uncomfortable. I only needed a couple of steps to realize I was returning them.
