Very comfortable have multiple pairs for hiking and for work where I'm on my feet. I did size up 1/2 and and put custom insole in ( I do this with all my shoes ) perfect fit foot.

I loved my 1.0 TERREX Goretex boots and these have yet to disappoint! I can't wait to go on more adventures with them!

Tested on the fells in Lake District in gale force wind and rain. Amazing grip, comfort, lightweight and most inportantly dry.

I already have a pair of terrex Swift which are pretty much my go to hiking boots, I've had them for years and are a fantastic boot but the free hiker 2 gore-tex absolutely blew them out the water. I have honestly never wore a boot as comfortable as these, first walk I done was an 8 mile off road, loads of different terrain, mud, tree roots, scree, they held up brilliantly, loads of traction, loads of support and did I mention I live in Scotland so it was obviously raining, by the time I got home my feet were dry and suffered absolutely no fatigue. For me going forward I don't think I'll buy another boot bar these.

If you are in the market for a good pair of water-resistant sneaker-boots these are the ones. They might run a tap big but with a thick pair of socks on they are perfect. If sizing is an issue I would try them out in person if at all possible. If that's not an option, you can always cop them, and try them out. If they are not fitting to your standards you can always return them. But for me they fit as I would expect a sneaker-boot to fit: not snug and not too big.

Light weight. Reasonably priced. Comfortable. Run small so I'd size up. Laces a bit short.

These are the most comfortable boots I have ever hiked in They are waterproof.. Feel just like the running shoes. The only feature I would like to see is gaiter hooks. My low top Agility Peak 5 GORE-TEX have that feature.

I would recommended buying a half size up, often an approach adopted with most buyers of walking boots. Snug fit good waterproofing and an excellent bounce that I enjoy on short trails.

Good product but the old version was better. Comfy but feels more plasticy

I work long hours as a truck driver that has to unload my own freight. So I'm doing 15-25k steps. I needed something with the comfort of an Ultraboost but winter weather ready. They use lightweight materials so I'm hoping they hold up through this winter season. I recommend this to any laborer or hiker. The Gore-TEX technology is A plus.

This is my second pair of Free Hikers. My first pair I bought 5 years ago, the Terrex Free Hiker 1.0. So that's what I'll be comparing them to. I prefer the toe box on the 1.0. The toe box on the 2.0 seem fine, I just feel I had more room in my 1.0. The 2.0 are shallow around the edges of the toes while the 1.0 are more box shaped. Trying to slide my foot through the opening is very tight/stiff, It was very difficult. But once in, the ankle support felt really good. It might be too supportive. You're definitely locked in. I won't know if it's too much support till I get it out on a hike. The 1.0's were much easier to slide my foot in, they had good ankle support as well. If I had to choose which I prefer better I'm leaning towards the 1.0. The tread/grip on the 2.0 seem amazing. Definitely prefer the continental on the 2.0. I did not weigh them but they feel slightly heavier than the 1.0. Not a deal breaker by any means. Just an observation. As far as the boost is concerned, I don't think it's fair to compare the 2 because I've had my old pair for 5 years now. The 2.0 is stiffer. But that's to be expected since they're brand new. I hope the shoes will loosen up after a good hike

Amazing fit, quality, and looks. Really my only complaint, and it is a big one, is that the shoes are very squeaky on hardwood or concrete floors.

In every major footwear brand I'm a 9.5UK. In these I wish that I could have got a half size bigger.

The quality and fit of the shoe is great. However, I never had a struggle putting on shoes as much as this one. The entrance to put your foot in is high and tight, and taking them off is a fight too. When they are in though, they are comfortable.

I find this shoe very comfortable. The width is perfect for my foot and the comfort level of the boost cushioning is good. Delivery came much earlier than expected.

I'm still breaking these in, so far they've been great. A little tough to get on and off, but have a nice fit around the ankle that feels secure for the hikes they've been on so far. I ordered men's hoping they would be a little wider, I sized up a whole size, and they fit comfortably.

I walk a lot at my job. Usually my feet start killing me earlier in the day but these have helped tremendously. Great for working in as well, I do a lot of repairing, so I'm usually tough on shoes. So far, nothing to complain about.

Comfortable and easy to wear for anything. My only complaint is that the foam mid sole easily is damaged/scratched and the foam underneath is white so on the black on black it really shows badly. Just scraping them on rocks or concrete lightly will give them road rash essentially. Other than that they're great. I prefer the last generation better though
