These are my every day socks. great in boots or shoes. They are thin enough to fit in shoes but so warm.

Still the same quality they were in the 90's. (price, of course, was a shock, not having purchased since the 80's or 90's) LOL

Smartwool socks always keep my feet dry and warm all day, meaning no more warts on my feet (something I dealt with before starting to wear Smartwool socks exclusively) and no smelly feet after work.

I have been wearing these cable crew socks for 20 years as trousers dress socks to wear to church and on special occasions. They are comfortable and last a long time. I have them in black, navy, olive and brown. Please never stop making them.
