Quality, color scheme, and comfortable for wool socks

On 40 degree days I can wear these with sneakers to keep my feet warm while outside for bus and recess duty.

this is my go to for winter hiking and snow shoeing. Make no mistake, Smartwool has it dialed in for outdoor gear. Fit is true to size, they wear very well. Not too tight, targeted cushion is great for running or lengthy hikes, nice for warmth as well.

Amazing comfort and kept my toes warm during a freezing run!

I really like these targeted cushion socks - just enough cushion for my toes and heels, and the lack of cushion under the arch seems to promote a bit of airflow. The stretchiness over the top of my foot really adds to the comfort and fit. I wear a size 8.5 shoe, but buy size Large socks, as I don't like them too tight, and these are perfect. #SmartwoolLove

Love these for winter runs.

Very well constructed: ventilation + cushioning in a thinner weave. Also, when taking off, there isn't any loose fibers sticking to the toes, even when worn all day. That is a sign of high quality. With the ventilation, no sweaty, -fiber filled feet ! Also, todays shoes & boots are so form~fitting that thick socks are useless today .

Love these to keep my feet going in the winter. There's a little more fabric in the toe and heel than the standard crew socks, which works out when running in the snow and my shoes stretch out a bit from getting soggy. But the wool keeps a good temperature balance so I can just keep on keepin' on. The cushion also helps with the awkwardness of running with traction on your shoes.

I've used these on a few winter runs and I love the warmth and cushioning that these socks provide. They are extremely comfortable and I use them for everyday use as well, so they aren't just for winter running. The design is great and despite them being pretty thin for a cold weather sock, I haven't seen any issues with them keep my feet warm. #SmartwoolLove

These socks are simply the best, they're everything I needed without realizing I needed them! They are lightly compressive throughout the foot in a way that doesn't restrict blood flow but rather keeps everything nice and snug. I haven't worn them in truly freezing weather but I'm sure they'll be perfect for that use case since they're not crazy thick (which can lead to slipping, at least for me) but comfortably warm. 10/10 would recommend, I'll be buying more to add to the rotation! #SmartwoolLove

Great socks for day to day and cold weather hiking

These are a great pair of slim-fit socks. I don't run, but I am excited to use them come spring as my biking socks. I have been pleased with how they fit in my daily life. They are great for when I am in and out of buildings in the cold weather as they keep my feet dry and warm. #SmartwoolLove
