My father is a carpenter so we've bought Dickies ALL the time because no others work well for him. We've purchased this brand for over 20 years. Other brands always tear and rip before he can get to the 5th wear. I'm not sure if Dickies has changed material or anything but the last few pair of carpenter jeans I've bought (store and online) are a lot thinner than they used to be. Over the last year ive bought 4 pair and he's been able to catch a hole in almost all of them. (Mind you, he's older now so he's not doing as much hard labor as he used to). I'm slightly dissapointed because now we have to hunt for different brands.

The Dickies name has been around for a very long time and I've always associated them with work clothing. The carpenter Jean may well be stiled after carpenter work jeans but the material they are made from is not heavy enough for work. The material is suitable for dress up jeans.

The jeans used to be thicker and sturdier made. Disappointed as have been a Duckies can a long time.

were not the same pants that I bought at local store 4 mo's before I really like the one's that I had and needed more just can't get them on line?

my husband did not like them because of the color and the fit was to baggie

I bought these for work but they are to light weight

I have owned numerous pairs of these jeans and really liked them until I had a pair that my phone wouldn't fit in. Thought it was a fluke until I went to the store and noticed that the pocket has been made just a little bit smaller. Unfortunately I am now tasked with finding a different brand and style of jeans to purchase.

I've being buying these double knee jeans for the last 10 years great pants for winter work not happy they don't sell 30 length any more

I bought these because of the leg pockets. I use to be able to place my cellphone in it. Now they have made them cheaper by making those pockets smaller nothing of size will fit.

The length was shorter then what it was supposed to be

Not the same quality as what I have purchased many times before. Very disappointed with the two new pairs I just purchased very shallow pockets and the carpenter pocket not big enough for a small iPhone ( as all my other Dickies Jeans do)

Poor fit didn't want the hassle of returning these. I have six older pairs for work starting to get holes. Have bought the same for years. Not cut the same material seems different. Poor fit

I have been wearing the same size 1993 rnb jeans for years and these dont even come close to fitting, way to small. At least 2 inches to small

these are not heavy weight carpenter jeans...thin as paper

Much thinner than they used to be! Belt loops are so small now you cant fit your belt through them. Material feels cheap and like it will rip easily.

Terrible fit. I ordered a 42 expecting them to be a little big for laying. What I got were extremely baggy everywhere except in the waist because they were realistically probably closer to a 38. I think I'm done with dickies jeans unfortunately.

Material is thin and front pocket was changed not deep enough. Button on jean was 2" from the edge. All my current jean are at 1" from the edge and a lot thicker material.

Button hole is sewed to small and it is very difficult to use.

I love Dickies pants but I ordered 2 pairs of my size and they didn't fit! Had to return them , very disappointed.

I bought these jeans because I'm a bigger guy 48" waist, Im an electrician and needed some work jeans, Dickies stoped making 48/50" in their heavy weight work jeans so I tried these. They didn't last three months before they tore everywhere, pack pocket and material ripped off, inseam ripped wide open on the other pair I bought both pair at the same time. If you want to look like you're a working man these are your jeans if you do work for a living get somthing else these just fall apart after a few weeks.

These jeans arrived in a timely manner. He wore them about 5 times and the crotch ripped open!! Very unhappy!! Now to try the second pair I purchased.

Got the caroenter jeans. Appreciate the extra belt loop on the front.

I have worn these jeans for years. On this new pair, the pockets are so shallow that I have already lost a valuable pocket knife. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately they ripped in the crouch about a month later. Dickies were my go to for work pants but as of late I don't feel they are of quality anymore. Front pockets are small and they all fit different
