Did not fit. Pockets shallow

These would be very good jeans if not for the uselessly small front pockets that seem to be designed for someone with hands the size of an 8 year old girl. Every time I have to try and reach into my pocket for something I hate them more and more.

These are the only pants that I buy as work pants. I only get 34x34. Most of them fit great. These and several others of the exact style and size are too tight in the waist for some reason. I will be returning them.

Changes made some for the better, others not. Pliers pocket is now bigger (enough for a smartphone). Regular pockets are shallower than previous versions, not good. Material is thinner and rips easier. Belt loops aren't attached well at all.

What happened? Ive been wearing dickies for 20 years. Now they are cheaply made and pockets way to small.

Very disappointed you have reduced your available large waste sizes. I will be changing brands to get a size that fits.

Good looking, terrible fit. They were very tight and short in the crotch, and seemed to be short in the rise as the were cutting into me. I am 5'11" 200 pounds and generally wear a 35 waist. The waist was not the issue. Had to give them to my son.

What happened to the pockets? Been buying these for years and suddenly the pocket is half the size.

1st I love these jeans for my spouse. We have purchased them for years. Our lastest order was returned due to sizing. One pair was about an inch longer in the inseam then the other two. The other two pair of jeans were narrower in the leg.

The pockets are 3 inches shorter now, these are work pants, right?

Seem to be of lesser quality than the same jeans I've owned in the past.

Need to bring 1994, so much of a fit than 1993, too big at the bottoms

I ordered two pairs, confident about size and length because I've been wearing these Dickies on the farm... pair after pair... for years now. The bag arrived, I tossed the jeans into the washer, and air dried them in the house (so they wouldn't shrink) because my same size has fit every time.
Bad mistake. These carpenter jeans were supposed to be 34W - 34 inseam and were NOT. The waist is at least an inch too small. They are also sewn differently, and changed certain details (ie. the coin pocket is much deeper and I can no longer easily reach driver bits I usually keep there).
Apparently Dickies has a new factory doing the sewing, and they've got something wrong.

I just put them on for the 2nd time and 1 of the metal grommets popped off the right side front pocket. The pockets are small and not too deep. I don't believe my hands are all that big. The pant legs should have a slight taper because these are way too wide and just don't look too great when trying to be casual and just wear sneakers.

These are hip huggers. They need to be deigned for working men, not fashion. There needs to be room between the waist and crotch so the don't ride up and strangle you down there....

every time I order these jeans on line they do not fit. The waist is always too tight and the inseam too long. When I order a larger waist and shorter inseam they are way too big and too short. There is no consistency. If I order the duck jeans in the size I have worn for 30 years they fit just right as do every other brand I by.

Tired of the cheap, thin denim in these. They are the only jeans comfortable with a knife pocket but the fabric has gotten so thin I'm blowing out knees in like 2 months, wearing and washing maybe 2x per week. Dont suggest the double knee version, tried them and the first layer pops a hole just as quickly, so they dont look professional any longer than these. But I have no choice in the matter, nothing else fits right

I purchased a couple pairs of new Dickies due to having a Hernia and needed some looser fitting pants. I believe this order was placed on 12/07/2020. These pants have had nothing more than sitting in the car and sitting around the house time on them due to the Hernia and post Hernia repair rest and relaxation. Today 1/03/2021, o put on a pair of the freshly washed Dickies to see the left side blown out on the hip. I have not contacted Dickies about this yet to see if they have a resolution.

I've been wearing Dickies jeans for over 20 years and I've loved them. The material used to be thick and strong and long lasting. However in the last couple of years the material has become thin and very cheap looking. It looks like the same material that W went to which would tear after only a few wearings. That's why I stopped buying W and started wearing Dickies. In my opinion, the quality of these Dickies jeans has plummeted to the point that I will not be purchasing them ever again.

Very thin material, you would think if they are advertising them as carpenters work jeans, they would be thicker than a pair of dress slacks.
