I am extremely happy with this shoe. I was concerned when I learned that the Venture 6 I was so fond of was discontinued and Asics now offered the 7. I have been very disappointed before when a 'new' model of shoes has been offered but I decided to order anyway. These are better than the 6! I LOVE the change in laces. I was skeptical when I first saw them because they are super thin - like ribbon thin. These laces are the best I have ever tried - the never come untied and are very easy to tighten. I have been wearing these shoes for 2 weeks now and I am on my feet constantly in general life and walk several miles every day. So far they are extremely comfortable. I love the look of them, too. Highly recommend.

This shoe fits perfectly and is true to size. The laces are a bit thin compared to the previous two Asics shoes I purchased. Love the color and the feel.

Have worn these for 2 days, the fit seems perfect and true to size and they are very comfortable. These feel like they will hold up to my moderate exercise routine as well as upcoming travel with lots of walking tours. Feel sturdy and appear to be well made. Very pleased with my purchase.

This is a nice shoe; I like the color, and the sizer felt right. I don't know where ASICS is getting their laces now, though, because the old styles had much better ones. The ones that came with this shoe are much thinner and cheaper-feeling. I am considering buying other laces to wear this shoe.

So these were about the tenth pair of sneakers I had bought in the last 6 weeks, all the others went back. They ranged from $50-150. I don’t think price matters when trying to find the best, as these were inexpensive and the winners. I have bunions in both feet and a former plantar fasciitis in one heel. And I’m a size 11 1/2. All hard finds for the most style, comfort and durability. Zappos return policy is the best they make it very easy.

These sneakers are very comfy! I am usually a 7.5W/8W and ordered an 8W. They fit well and do feel like a true wide width. I use them for walking mostly, so not a lot of wear and tear, but they are holding up well. I ordered the Silver/Black - those colors DO NOT appear on these sneakers! lol They are definitely more of a Navy/Dark Purple, which I actually think is cute and which I think the picture kind of reflects. Not sure why they are labeled Silver/Black? Overall, I definitely recommend these sneakers.

Full disclosure - all my sneakers and hiking shoes are Asics - so I would call myself a devoted fan. This sneaker is a really lightweight and breathable Asics shoe. Out of the box, it's flexible, cushy and ready to wear (I went for a 5 mile hike with no issues at all). The sizing is the same as other Asics sneakers. I like that it's black on black, for those days when I want to head into New York City for the day and wear sneakers but not look like I'm heading to the gym.

I ordered the grey/pink color after deciding the black was too manly looking for me. I am in love with these shoes. Thank you, Asics, for making 1/2 sizes, which I definitely need in a running shoe. These are perfect and so was the price!

Five years ago I had a soccer injury resulting in damage to my Achilles’ tendon, specifically where it attaches to the back of my ankle. I literally couldn’t wear any shoes with a back on them for about a year- I lived in crocks lol I kept trying sneakers but everything seemed to bother it. I stumbled upon this ASICS series and, since there is a bit less bulk in the back of the shoe, took my chances- and it worked. SUPER comfy shoe, and did not exacerbate my injury. It took a long time for it heal and it occasionally will flare up with other shoes, so I basically live in these. I’ve bought a new pair every year for the last four years and am never disappointed. This new pair of 7s in the red is def my favorite so far- great fit and comfort as always, but they the coolest looking pair I’ve seen yet. Very happy!

I never usually buy shoes online because I have to try them on. I took a chance on buying these and I'm glad I did. The fit is perfect! I'm so happy with my purchase. Very comfortable too.

Size was true and fits well. Very comfortable and would recommend.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I usually need to buy a half size larger in an athletic shoe than other shoes, and these were no exception. I love Asics – I can count on them fitting me consistently and they have great support. I use them every day to walk the dog and they last a couple years before I have to replace them. I haven't bought any other kind of walking/running shoe for years. Their quality and consistency makes it an easy decision. These were a really good price, as well, which I appreciate!

I like this shoe. I am a "walker" and need support. This shoe is a bit larger in the width, but that is no problem. It's going into winter and I will wear heavier socks. The only problem I have is that the laces are fairly flimsy. I need stronger laces to lace up the extra width.

The shoes were great. I usually do 9-12,000 steps in a 10 hour shift. These shoes were comfortable for my entire shift.

I'm a size 11 and have a very hard time finding shoes that I like and fit. I love these shoes and they are very comfortable. I normally take my shoes off after awhile of wearing them cause they are bothering my feet but these shoes stay on my feet all day without even noticing I am still wearing them. No sore feet here. I love the navy blue color with purple accents. Highly recommended and will buy again if needed.

These shoes fit perfectly and provide much needed support. I have weak ankles and this is my go-to brand. They're super comfy and last for years. I'm on my second pair. Love them!

Gel-Venture7 bought size 8 and they fit very well. Previous pair Gel-Contend5 had size 7,5 (they are softer and size also was good).

I have a wide forefoot, High instep and narrow heel. My normal flat shoe size is a women’s 5, I ordered these in a 5.5 Wide. The toe box didn’t feel quite deep enough when I first put these on, but after wearing them for a few days, they feel great. I was looking for a neutral shoe and didn’t realize these were Trail shoes. They look great, they are a little more rigid from side to side than a running shoe, but great flexibility in the forefoot which is just what I need.

Haven’t worn them for a long period of time but think they will be comfortable.

Was the correct size as the store but cheaper.

For those of you deciding on color, I got the ones called “black/silver”. Where they came up with that color to describe these is beyond me. There is NO black in these sneakers. They are a navy blue with the blue being on the purple side. Beautiful color, IMO. Anyway, these are really comfortable sneakers with a nice cushioned footbed. I have these same ones in an older version and love them. However I returned these because I feel like I could use a half size larger. They seem to run just a little small so if you’re between size go up the half size. I’m probably going to try them in a half size bigger or I may try the same size in the wide width and see if that does the trick. I do wish these came in other colors specifically lighter colors. Thank you Zappos for the amazing return policy as usual. I always comes to Zappos for my shoe shopping for this reason.

I am a dedicated Asics fan. Bought this pair to replace another Asics style that was past it's prime. I love the padded tongue and the laces that are just the right length. This to me is more comfortable than my old pair of the Gel Venture 6. Wish I had them on my last international trip when I did a lot of walking. Highly recommend this style.
