It was narrower than is comfortable for me. I did like the all black style.

Love these sneakers! Haven't taken them running yet but have been supportive and comfortable on high-incline walks.

They are true to size and are very comfortable, so far. They do need to be broken in a little bit. I will be able to tell better when I go back to work after winter break. I walk to work and stand all day during PE. I will update my review in a few weeks.

So far, so good. I bought them for Jazzercise and worn them to class twice - they’re quite comfortable. As other reviewers have noted, the “black, silver” color is navy and lavender, but I’m ok with that, they’re good looking shoes. I got them on sale at a terrific price and am very pleased with the shoes.

Perfect They have great grip in the snow

Great fit, very comfortable, good toe room, love them. I have arthritic feet and have trouble getting a good fit with comfort, these are excellent, can wear all day and have no foot pain. Will order another pair in a different color. Very happy I kept trying till I got the right style for me. Thanks Zappo for the free returns!

I bought these shoes in Wide width specifically to use my custom orthotics for plantar fasciitis/heel spur on my right foot. The orthotics fit perfectly in this shoe (after I took out the insole that comes with the shoe). They are not as “squishy” comfortable as my Brooks but they do a much better job of supporting my foot with the orthotics inside since they are Wide width. I’m also in an ankle brace right now and the shoes accommodate it nicely as well.

Comfortable, lightweight and supportive right out of the box! Normally have to wait out a break in period but not with these.

I love the shoes, but ordered the black/ silver color and they are actually dark blue with teal accents. While I love these colors, I was looking for a black shoe. To be fair, the picture of the shoes that I ordered looks just like the ones I received, but they clearly state that they are black and silver, so I thought that the picture was wrong and I ordered them hoping that they were black and silver. Anyway...I will keep them, because they are an attractive, comfortable shoe.

My feet do not like the Asics GEL Venture 7. My feet greatly prefer the Asics GEL Contend 5. The Contend 5's are wider, I think, even though I ordered wide widths in both.

The Asics Gel Venture 7's run a half size longer than the Asics Gel Contend 5's. I held my two pairs of 7.5 wide shoes back to back and the Venture 7's were noticeably longer. I exchanged my Venture 7's for a half size smaller.

These are incredibly comfortable shoes. Once the gel form fits to your foot it is like coming home every time you out them on. I also like the spiffy color.

Asics has been my go to, except this time this particular model did not have a removable inner sole to make way for my more comfortable, compatable soles. As for appearance, the design is acceptable only if one is not fussy. The clunky look has its benefits in that it offers comfort and plenty of room for toes. Fundamentally, the structure is solid and made to last.

I’m so glad these fit so well! I often buy men’s shoes because they seem to be a little bit more roomy/wider. I wear between an 8 1/2 and nine ladies. These fit true at a size 9. I usually put in my own insoles, and take out the ones that come with the shoe, and the fit was still great. The shoe is lightweight, well-built and perfect for outdoor running and walking. I love that they’re almost totally black and not a bunch of crazy colors! Zappos was really good about meeting a better price I found elsewhere. Two thumbs up for the shoes.

These sneakers fit TTS and are comfortable. Zappos delivery was fast and the price was right. I recommend them.

Great shoe so far

I am a long time fan of the ASICS GEL-VENTURE series. I am not a runner, but a city walker. I find the extra deep treads extremely beneficial when walking lake trails and general city sidewalks. The work well when hiking light trails too. I do not recommend them for moderate or strenuous hiking - get yourself some good hiking boots for those types of trails.

Shoes are great and quite good support for running.

This is my first pair of ASICS. I ordered my size 8.5 and it fits like a glove, therein lies the problem. I walk/jog 5 miles a day and I need room to move my toes and foot inside of the shoe. I like the color, the shoe is lightweight, so I am returning for size 9, and I will update.

Great shoe for the price. I bought these as a walking shoe, so can't review on it as a running shoe. Light, comfortable. I ordered an 11 wide, because I need a wide toebox, and that worked fine.

I wear a size 8 in a regular shoe and purchased these in a size 9. Perfect fit with socks. Easily adjusted to accommodate my narrow foot. Comfortable with ample support. The laces are oddly thin but if they hold up, I'm okay with that. I am happy with these shoes, overall. (I bought two pair: Black/grey and the chili flake/wood cream . Happy with both!)

My feet pronate and these sneakers are very supportive. I will buy another pair.
