They are smaller than before And the toe box is weird

This is my 3rd pair of Kayano shoes, I ordered the same size that I have previously but felt that these were 1/2 size smaller than the ones I've worn before. I like a wider toe box and definitely feel that these are more narrow. I do like the added cushion in this shoe though.

The fit has changed. The toe curls up and the length is shorter. The right shoe also felt shorter than the left. I have worn Asics size 11 for over 20 years. This is the FIRST pair that I have been disappointed in. I wore them several times to "give them a chance" and they started giving me shin pain because of how the toe curls up and the shorter length. I SO wanted these to work out.

I don't have problem feet or foot pain, and I was told to buy a show for overpronation (based on gait analysis). This shoe hurt my foot. The ankle cuff sits lower on the Achellis than other Asics I have bought, and instead of securing my foot in the shoe, it causes a lump on my Achellis tendon. This shoe is also very wobbly. GT2000 and Kayano are marketed as stability shoes, but this particular Kayano 28 is not stable, and in fact it causes inward collapse of the arch. If you try these on, feel the two pads on the bottom rear of the heal. One side is soft foam, the other is hard foam. Yes, I can feel that when I walk. I regret this purchase, and would rather have plain no frills shoes. These are unhealthy for overpronaters.

I bought these shoes a few months ago and set them aside without trying them on. I have bought the Gel Kayanos for years, always the same size and they would fit perfectly. When I finally went to wear the new shoes I found that the fit had changed significantly and not in a good way. The new Kayano 29 model runs bigger in the toe box and longer than previous models. The side cut by the ankle is higher and rubs my foot...never a problem before. If you have purchased the Gel Kayanos in the past be aware that the 29 model does not fit the same.

I love the gel-Kayanos!!!! Been getting them for like 30 years now. I like the cushion and support - they fit my feet well. I have narrow feet so I have to tie the laces tight over time, but that's ok. I won't buy any other running shoes. I have to have ASICS. Period. THANK YOU, ASICS!!!!

Kayano are so comfy and look great on! I got the papaya and the color so great for summer

I have worn Asics Gel Kayano for many years and they give me great support when I exercise. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a good running or walking shoe.

Bought these for my tween who is so hard to shop for and she loves them. Prefers them to her other shoes.

I am a fan of ASICS shoes. I had tried different brands and I ended up with this brand. I have a few pairs of ASICS shoes. These shoes are very comfortable as I expected. The color is very beautiful. Love these shoes.

Comfortable shoes. I never get shin splints with these shoes.

I purchased these for my daughter (in college) who has recently started an internship healthcare position and is on her feet quite a bit during her 12 hour shifts. The military wrecked her knees to the point that being on her feet for long periods of time is painful. These have helped tremendously!

Love the old Kayano's but I hate the new version of these

Really comfortable for walking, exercising, running, and everyday use. I have pronation so I always love the Gel Kayanos!

These are wide enough and cushioned enough. I really like them and will get this exact style from now on.

I have tried many different types of shoes as a nurse, these are by far the most comfortable. There's no break-in period, As soon as I put them on my feet, they are instantly comfortable
