I've worn ASICS GEL Kayanos for at least 15 years. Maybe 20. My last 3 pairs were 28s and were fine. (not great) I recently bought 29 and they're terrible. The right shoe doesn't fit my toes at all. I've tried to wear them on and off for a month and nothing has improved. I'm giving them away.

I am very disappointed of the quality in these sneakers. Since I started running I always gravitate in purchasing Asics Kayano but sadly I am not a fan of this version. First they are bulky and not appealing at all. When I try to run in these it was so uncomfortable. At first I thought I needed to break them in but that was not the case. My biggest regret was not returning them on time had to throw them out. Please bring back the Kayano 27 and 28 style!!!

Have to say through a combination of errors I ended up ordering a women’s 9 1/2 not a men’s 9 1/2 the customer service on Zappos was phenomenal so although the questions askabove I answered honestly, the reality is I would do business with these guys again and again, and again they are great. They fix the problems. We had a friendly chat, and the new shoes will be here tomorrow.

The arch on the shoe was changed. As an overpronator, the arch change did not fit my feet.

I have worn ASICS for 20+ years. My Gel-Kayano 28s are causing me foot pain like I've never had before and was thinking about getting the 29. But after reading reviews, I'm done with these shoes.

When I stepped into this shoe, it felt comfy but very narrow. After a short run I had blisters on both big toes. Soft and supported but small. There was a lot of cushion, which I wanted. However, this made to where my foot could not properly sit where it needed to. The left shoe also made my foot would whip back when I would step. I am not sure if this was the shoe trying to straighten my step, or if I am odd. It hurt after the run though. Definitely not for me

I was excited to try these as they felt great asap I tried in the store. However, when its time for the real test, Yes running on the treadmill and my entire feet started to hurt. Arch support is a published feature and not a feature I did not feel arch support not once during my running.

These are much shorter than my Gel-Kayano 28's.
I tried wearing them 1.5 times and they hurt my toes too much to keep trying.
What a total waste of money.

I have been wearing Kayano's for years. It's been consistent with the cushion and comfort. This is the first model that is "off". The sole is more rounded to give you a slight rocking motion. This doesn't bother me as much as the wider foot bed near the front of the shoe. After my activity, my big toe is left with sore spots since it has shifted around in the shoe since it's loose. I've even tighten the laces are far as it can go and this still is an issue. I bought 5 of the same model and so far I've worn 2 of them and it's the same issue. For me, 29 is not the right fit.

Awful. the ankle is lower than the ball of the foot. Could feel it in my knees just by trying on. And ugly. Dissappointed with the latest Asics

The tongue portion of these shoes are not flush and it very uncomfortable unfortunately. I absolutely love this color and wanted to love the shoes as much.

These shoes have squeaked since I have bought them. They are not comfortable like the other ones I have bought. I am very disappointed that I spent so much money on them for them to turn out like this.

Been buying Kayano for 20 years. Unlike earlier Kayano, I find this design hurts ankle. Uncomfortable. Can't wear. Not the same. RETURNED.

This is the worst Gel-Kayano shoe that I've ever seen. I've worn them all for years. This is poor quality, bulkier than usual, materials changed, for the worst. Everyone is cutting corners in the name of profits, and it shoes. I won't be buying these again. I'll spend this $160.00 on another brand.
