Bought a pair of gel-kayano 29 for my spouse to wear at work as recommended by the doctor. She is an emergency nurse. Hence she need to wear comfortable shoes. Unfortunately the shoes started wearing off after 6-7 months of use and got 2 big holes on each shoe exact on same spot.

If I can find another brand of shoe that work as well, I'd never do business with you again.

i'm prone to plantar fasciitis and used to wear the earlier versions of the kayanos until i switched to novablast. i decided to give the 29 a try to switch things up but not only did my plantar fasciitis come right back, my ankles were in a lot of pain too. there's just an overall lack of structure and cushion and the quality is nowhere close to the price tag.

I do not recommend these shoes. I bought them for walking. They were comfortable when I first tried them on but after a few hours, my feet were in so much pain. I tried to break them in but the pain got worse each time I wore them. You can't try these shoes on, unless you remove the tags and then ASICS will not accept them back.

Poor Quality and Inconsistent Sizing - not happy with purchase and returned - I have worn this size, style and brand of sneaker for 20+ years for daily runs and working as a nurse and I am now looking elsewhere - very sad that the quality has gone so downhill.

the shoes do not fit and I need to return or exchange, I wore the blacks ones thinking I could break them in and I am only able to wear them a couple of hours before my feet start killing me making it difficult to walk. I have not wore the gray pair and would like to discuss my options

This is my 6th pair of Asics. I don't even know how many were gel. This is not a good shoe. I want to exchange them!

Does not provide the comfort I am used to with ASICS. It may be these are too stiff and padded for me. They set off my mortons neuroma.

I have run in gel kayanos for the past ten years. This model is AWFUL and has made me need to find new running shoes. No matter how I tie them I am in pain running. The toe bed is different and my feet slip, which has never happened before. Further, the tongue on the shoe is so cushioned it hardly covers the laces.

I bought this style for the first time and I wore them twice and they were very uncomfortable! For me these were a waste of my hard earned money!! They say they're good for comfort and over pronation but I was in so much pain the 2nd day I'm very disappointed!!

Run's very small. I am a 8.5 and I would need a size 9.

Long term kayano fan disappointed. I wear these for daily running only. So many issues such as narrow toe bed, peeling tread that comes off whole, rubbing on the ankle causing abrasions. These shoes are not the quality that they used to be and may be fine as a walking or work shoe but should jot be your pick for distance running. The models have progressivly worsened over the years.

I have been wearing gel-kayanos for two decades; they are my go-to shoe. So, I don't know what happened with these shoes. I have been running in them for nearly a month and, from day one, they have been painful. I've had pain at the front of my ankle from the tongue, such that I had to move the tongue to one side and loosen the laces, which, as someone with slender feet, is uncommon for me. I've had pain at the back of my ankle and heel, and even on the bottom of my feet when simply walking in them. I'm flabbergasted because these don't feel like the gel-kayanos that I know and love. I'm honestly wondering if I got defective shoes because, in all my years of running in Asics, I've never had this happen. My gel-kayano 28s were a dream from day one. These have been a nightmare.

I have been wearing the gel-kayono sneakers for years and have always been happy with them. This is not the case with the gel-kayano 29s, which are uncomfortable for me to wear. Something is different in the way the outer sides are cut- they are cut higher than the others and bump against the lateral malleolus- the bone on the outside of my ankle.

I have been wearing Gel Kayano for years in size 8.5 - these were too small in length and cushion did not come close to the Gel Kayano 28's. I had to return.

I've been running in kayanos for 15 years. This version is at least a half size smaller and just didn't feel right. I had to return them and bought two pairs of the 28s instead.
