Overall pretty comfortable, but has no arch support at all. I bought these in solid black to wear as my new work shoes, so I could go walking on my breaks without having to change shoes. I'm accustomed to having to put my own insoles in shoes because of my high arches, but I was pleasantly surprised that my previous pair of ASICS (Gel Equation 8, purchased in 2017) had great arch support built in! This pair has none. That's fine, I can put in the insoles from my other ASICS for now and buy better ones later, but it is disappointing, as part of the reason I chose ASICS was for the arch support. These aren't as comfortable as my Gel-Equation 8s, but they're okay.

Did not feel comfortable on my feet

Love this shoe, but it's built a little snug- toes and heels; and the footbed/insole is not at all spongy or shock absorbent. my soles feel every bump on the tread of these shoes.

I have ordered this shoes before this on arrived in smashed box and is a full size smaller than expected.

Not much cushion or arch support. Tan a little small. Returning.

Very uncomfortable compared to my GEL-Contend 5 favorites. Like wearing the cardboard box.

Unlike every other pair of Asics I've had, these feel like the arch support is almost nonexistent. I'm hoping that I can save them with inserts, but given this experience Asics definitely can not be a go-to pair of sneakers for me anymore, which is really disappointing, because I've been able to go from pair to pair for years without worry.

I have been wearing Asics exclusively for 20 years. They have always been consistent in fit. I could always count on them for comfort and the arch support I needed, until now. The style I have worn in the past has predominantly been Gel Contend. Being that these shoes were were also Gel Contend, I felt I had nothing to worry about. I waited until after Christmas (a month after receiving my order) before I started wearing them. I noticed they felt a little different, but unfortunately I didn't pay close attention to that until I started having severe foot pain. After wearing them just a few times, I realized the pain was from the new shoes. I compared them to my older Asics and realized the arch support was basically non-existent. I discovered the insole is called Ortholite. I have never seen that before, and don't know what it means. The "lite" appears to mean no arch support. I have not contacted Zappo's yet. (It's Sunday evening.) My experience is that they have been a great company and I'm hoping that they will take care of my situation and allow me to return these shoes.

The sneaker had great style but the fit was horrible. Narrow in the toe area, sneaker felt heavy on. Had to send them back.

It has less arch support than the Venture, so I am returning them. Otherwise the fit was ok. I ordered size 9, though I'm usually 8.5. Some Asics 8.5 feel like 8; some feel like 8.5 - even with the exact same model of shoe!

I need a narrow shoe and ASICS doesn’t make them anymore. These shoes are too wide for me. They are also cheaply made. They are not true to size. Order at least a half size up.

The fit and size were fine but there was no support in them when walking and I felt very flat footed. They were super cute and I wanted to like them but I returned them because I needed a shoe I could walk to/from office and train station.

No comfort

No grip. Slippery and dangerous

felt a half size smaller and very narrow toe bed. No arch support.

I've gotten these shoes before and they fit great. Now for some reason the left shoe is rubbing to the point of constant blisters.
