Comfortable and good width! My feet are wide and these shoes always fit great. I do have to size up a half size

I love ASICS. Ive been walking only in ASICS for about 10 years. This is the first pair I had to break in. They rubbed my heel raw the first walk, and theyre still a little off. I believe they will settle in, and my next sneaker purchase will be ASICS, but these were a disappointment.

Comfortable, durable and a great color--thank you for making a sport shoe with enough height in the heel to support the foot!

These shoes fit so well and I do not know I have them on! I can go all day and not have to adjust my socks, which have done in the past. Recommend to anyone who needs an inexpensive but great fitting shoe!

ASICS are my go-to walking shoes. They are comfortable, affordable, and come in a nice variety of colors.

I wear 8.5 in most shoe styles, though many times I size up to a 9 in sneakers. However, this sneaker had so many "true to size" reviews that I ordered these in 8.5. They fit wonderfully. One foot is slightly longer than the other, and that longer foot is almost touching the toe box, but there is still room. This particular fit is perfect for my mixed use (running, walking, training, etc). If I were ordering these as purely walking shoes, I may suggest sizing up 1/2 size so there's more of a thumb's width in the toe box. However, for running I think the "true to size" size is perfect. My foot is also slightly narrow, and these are great and the laces can tie up in the perfect spots to make it as secure as I need.

I love the shoes. It gave me blisters in my ankle but fitting it and wearing it properly solve the problem. It feels good on my feet. They feel supported. I have less pain on my feet from long work outs. The price is reasonable. I feel thought that it is worn out easily. I am looking to how long it will last me.

Comfortable and wide my toes dont hurt Hopefully my toe nail doesnt rip the material again like last time lol totally my fault but be aware make sure your nails are cut and not jagged .

These are great shoes very comfortable and supportive. The colors are really nice highly recommend.

I wasn't impressed with this shoe. It has little cushioning to offer between my foot and the pavement. It is okay for walking, but I won't run in it.

I have a wide foot and these are dreamy. I have one pair on its last legs so I ordered two more pairs because I'm afraid they'll disappear as shoe companies are always changing their shoes without warning. When you find the perfect pair you want to keep them!

I absolutely love these shoes.. I had 6 pairs of these in a row a few years back and then switched to another brand!! Forgot how much I loved these!! I wont be switching after all!!! Linda McGovern

I love these shoes!! Enough that I've bought them twice. I am a daily trail runner, averaging roughly 55 miles per week, and these shoes held up months longer than any other pair of shoes I've had in recent years. They are comfortable with a sole that is still sturdy and provides adequate support.

I returned these shoes because there was absolutely no cushion and they were very stiff. The only good thing about them was the wide toe box.

I have high arches and overpronation and the Gel-Contend 8 a good comfortable fit for both considerations.

i beg of you to bring back the contend 7!!!!! it is said the 8 is a similar fit...not so...i can not wear these all day - and definitely not two days in a row. i am a professional dog walker and the contend 7 is the only shoe that i have found that is a) not too cushiony (like the Hokas fad) and b)sturdy enough to take pavement pounding all day

Actually a Great shoe for walking cleared mountain trails.

I have been wearing asics for 10 years, something happened with the quality, I found this shoe have no support at all for me, I wore them once and my sensitive knees started hurting. I am not sure if the quality of the shoe is lower or it is my body, but I had to find another brand. They are pretty, fit true to size, but they felt like there is no cushion, support.

Nice enough shoes. These are more casual daily wear for me. Well made, comfortable, great fit. For dance class purposes they lack a bit in the front end support I need. Great shoe, just not the best matxh for my instructor needs.

ASICS have been my go to active & comfort shoe for years. Ive tried a variety of ASICS styles. Im sorry to say Ive started sampling other brands. Heres why: The color or size is often not available in the particular style from the ASICS website also limited at other retailers. I rarely get requested alerts for new styles or out of stock items. In the last few years the woven styles are not durable; they usually pull apart at the attachment to other materials. Previous styles had a footbed comfort that is lacking; I havent been able to reconcile my experience with the descriptions when I think Im ordering a similar product the next season. The fit varies. Im a pretty standard ladies 7.5 medium but when I reorder the same style they have often been narrow. My best fit lately for any activity was the Torrance Trail. I bought it for trail use but it was more comfortable than my other ASICS. I also used them for golf because the ASICS golf shoe was a miserable fit, I didnt like the tread & it was not flexible enough. I eventually bought a golf shoe from another brand. If you bring back the Torrance Trail keep the great features in the knit & also offer an all leather for wet hiking / golf. My last ASICS was a Gel-Contend that I bought for daily comfort & wear but it just doesnt feel great. After wearing them I also realized the solid material at the toe box which attaches to the knit is not uniform on each shoe. One toe box is a different / smaller shape than the other. So I wish this brand could do better. I was introduced to the brand decades ago by a trainer who worked with an Olympic athlete that was a strong brand advocate, and for many years ASICS was wonderful. In recent years I noticed that my physical therapist who is on her feet all day preferred ASICS; however she has also switched to other brands. Thank you for the opportunity to share I hope meaningful information.
