This shoe seems less quality than the Gel contend 5 I bought here a few years ago. I have the black model, and they show white glue around the sole. The toe bed seems less shallow and possibly going to make my toe slam into the tip of the box while walking since the foot is not nestled. Very little arch support.

These sneakers are so comfortable! As soon as I put them on, they felt great not tight. I usually have to break in the sneakers a bit. These fit and feel fantastic! Very good arch support too.

I wear a solid 10 majority of the time. Most shoes will have something wrong with one foot. With these everything was perfect for me. I did buy a 10 1/2 and I’m glad I did. Just enough room to wear socks but if I don’t they’re not floppy and support is good I usually wear flats but now I try to wear good support shoes. I will purchase more in different colors

I've bought these shoes for years and wear them all day at work, they are comfortable and affordable. Slightly narrow over the foot and wide in the toe bed. Unfortunately with this latest pair, and possibly the one before it, the cushioning doesn't seem as soft and durable as in the past.

For some reason the size 6 on me was too short. My toes touched the interior tip of the shoe. This is the size I always have ordered so I’m sort of scratching my head with all of this.

I've been wearing various models of asics for years, but have never worn the contend model before. While I am a huge asics fan, this has been my least favorite. While the shoe is ok to wear for small amounts of time, long 10 hour days leave my feet hurting. The toe box is too narrow and my toes feel cramped. For a similar price, the Gel Excite model provides more cushion and space.

I have terrible feet and have a hard time finding shoes that give me proper support and comfort. These Asics are so good, I bought a second pair. I wish they made a style that looks dressy. Some men's sneakers are now doing that!

I bought these shoes for my teen daughter in January 2023 and they have been fine, but I noticed that one of the side Asics stripes is peeling off leaving a hole in the shoe after only 6 months- very surprising for Asics!

I've only had these for 2 months, and there are tears on both shoes in multiple places. I wear these shoes all day, every day and ONLY inside my house to do daily housework, etc. I don't do anything crazy in them. I don't do running or aerobics in them. I walk around my house in them. For the price, these shoes should NOT be falling apart after 2 months!!! I always buy ASICS and for some reason they changed something as my last pair did not fall apart and lasted well over a year. Very disappointed and will not be buying these again.

I have worn Asics for many years, but have sometimes bought men's shoes to get them wide enough for my foot. It's really nice to find a woman's wide shoe and have it fit. The shoe is attractive and a true fit.

I have bought the Contend Gel 9.5 W for a few years now. They all fit well, they last for about 5-6 months before they start to wear down. I was hoping i the shoe would last longer, but it is worth it for me to buy 2-3 a year.

I first ordered size 9 due to some reviews. They were way too long and wide so I returned them in favor of 8.5 M. They fit and look great. I do a lot of walking/hiking in the desert, so I hope the uppers will hold up better than the Sketchers I last bought.

These were great and fit correctly but “mommy, I wanted the pink ones”. These seem to run more true to size than the GEL-Contend 7. This one fit fine but the 7 in the same size is too small.

The shoes are fine but the laces are defective. Laces are too short and are missing the laces ends. Laces with no aglets! Please send another pair of laces. No point in returning the shoes when it's just the laces that need fixing. Thank you
