The Novablast 3 doesn't seem as cushioned as the Novablast 2. I like that the Novablast 3 is more responsive than the Novablast 2.

In dry condition shoes are fine for Tempo and VO2 max runs. In wet conditions these shoes are extremely slippery. Traction on fall runs leaves / slick concrete is virtually non existing. Seriously regret getting them.

It's very disconnected from heel strike to forefoot, like the forefoot slaps the ground, I was hoping for more of a rocker motion. Also, the internal plastic heel cup is very rigid and hard with zero padding. So while the rest of the upper does feel comfortable and locked in, the heel is very uncomfortable and kind of loose. I'd recommend an external heel counter with a soft internal heel. That said, I got it on sale for half off and it isn't completely unwearable for daily 5ks so it's hard to complain. I'd return if I paid full price.

I was running, when i start to feel something strange behind my feet.. : / They are comfortable and great for easy and hard runs, but have a serious quality issue.

I was looking forward to running in this shoe. I returned it because the fit was larger than my typical size. Got them again from running warehouse. 2 days of running in a little bit of rain on the road, and I was sliding with every step I took! Asics needs to fix the soles of its shoes big time!

There ok, not super impressive. They slap the ground when you run in them. Not wide foot friendly. Im 185lbs size 10.5. They do ok on 8 mile runs. If I could do it over I would get the gelnimbus instead of these.

Nice looking shoes, except toe box too narrow. Asics only offer Novablast wide sizes in 1 unattractive colorway. Hopefully Novablast 4 will have more wide sizes color options. Returned.

I ordered back and white. The box says black/white. But the shoe is all black. I will return.

I didn't have the Novablast 2, but I did have the Novablast 1. I much prefer the original FF Blast Foam. It was much softer than the new foam. I like the Novablast 3 overall because they made the midsole wider and you feel more stable that the narrow footprint of the original. I also feel this shoe would be better with more stack height. Overall a solid shoe, but can be much better.

Style was very good. Plenty of heel cushioning. Did not feel comfortable when walking on the forefront of my feet. Could use more padding on the inside inserts.

Heel drop is close to 12mm. Less bounce than NB2. The outsole has almost no grip when there is any form of moisture on the ground. However, the midsole is light and decently responsive.

My husband says not much difference between the 2 and 3, so he didn't see the reason to pay extra for the 3, so we ordered another 2 style But he loves novablast

Sorry, I had to return them. There was too much padding in the back of heel and I didn't like the flimsy tongue. I loved my previous models and bought 6 pairs in the past , it was a great shoe , I'll miss it .

Boy, Im not sure if Im doing something wrong because at least 6 of the 10 reviews I have read speak well of this shoe. These shoes squeek like crazy. When I'm jogging especially if I step in a puddle then this annoying squeeek-squeeek,squeeek noise starts. When the shoe is dry its perfectly fine so maybe its just avoiding water and thankfully I live in a dry heat area so avoiding puddles is not a big deal. The other issue that is a bit of a bother but I can live with is that their is the slightest sensation that my feet are leaning to the outer left side of each shoe when jogging. If I stand upright without moving or even regular walking I dont feel it as much. Over all a shoe is a shoe. Each one has its ups and downs. I guess Im just a bit finicky now because this is the most I paid for gym shoes.
I'd also recommend:

Clunky, yet bouncy? Slappy. Oh so slappy. BUT above all else, that tongue. That way too thin, sliding down, bunching up, unprotective tongue. It kills the shoe for me. Oh and it runs just a tad long contributing to the clunk

I have been running in these for over 75 miles and find a foam issue on the right shoe. It just digs into the bottom of my feet, like I'm running on a ball. Visually I don't see any issues so assume it's within the foam. I loved the Novablast 2, yet these have been the worst running shoe I have experienced. Compared to the Novablast 2, these do not have the same amount of traction, so in the rain expect some slipping and sliding.

These shoes are hard to run in. They give nothing back. Superblast has a bounce. Gel-nimbus has cushion. These have nothing. Cool looking tho

Been running in these for a few months and I just can't get used to them. To their credit, they're incredibly comfortable. They feel like pillows on your feet. The issue for me is the noticeable heel-to-toe drop. It feels like I'm wearing high heels. The difference in cushioning between the heel and the front of the shoe makes for an audible slapping sound each time my forefoot hits the ground. I recognize that these shoes likely work well for many people, but my stride just feels inefficient and unnatural wearing these.

I run on the balls of my feet and these do not support that type of running. They've developed uneven padding that seem to correspond to the ridges underneath.

I like the Novablast 2 much better than these 3. They are way to ridgid and feel heavy to me. Feels like I have a board on my feet . Would not recommend these shoes to anyone.
