I haven't been able to run in these shoes, due to arthritic knees, although they do make me want to give it a try. Instead I got them for power walking, although I have been biking more than walking these days. Perhaps I should give running another shot; I'll let you know if it works.

Very comfort! The new structure of 29 is good supporting of my ankle and foot.

I love the fit and feel. They work well with my orthotics. My only issues is my feet get cold during cold weather because the design which works well during spring & summer but not so much in winter

These shoes are super comfortable and durable. I bought the previous style for my father and he wore them down cause he loved them so i bought him another pair.

Pleasant appeaance and color cobination to begin with. Excellent feet for my slim feet and neurtrual pronation. This shoe performs well and the wight is reasonble. The "spring" factor is just right. It's comfortable and at the same time controlable. no need to walk on a "cloud"or down. it is a well balanced shoe, appears durable and most importantly does the job of training well. I use it for working out and teaching low impact awerobic classes.

I found the Kayano 29 has the best combination of support and cushioning without being too soft or too firm.

I did a lot of research before I actually bought a pair, and the Asics website was a tremendous help to assist the info. I found.in my own research. I love these shoes, and they are very comfortable. My DR told me I needed 2 knee replacements, and I bought these shoes and a recumbent bike in the hopes of prevention. I have been a sneakerhead since the Jordan 3's came out, lol.

I already owned another Asics sneaker, as well as the Gel-Kayano 29 extra wide in my regular 9.5XW (I usually wear 9.5EEE), but I noticed my toes were sore from hitting the top of the Gel-Kayano's after walking all day in them, so I decided to order 1/2 a size bigger this time and they fit perfectly. I don't normally need to size up when ordering Asics, so not sure if it's this model or my feet have just flattened more. I have wide and flat "duck feet", and these are very comfortable for long walks or standing for long periods which is what I need to do at work. I'm not a runner so I can't attest to that. Sometimes shoes have support for people with high arches and those built-in supports bother my flat feet, but these shoes feel so comfortable, so if you have a high arches and are looking for support, I'm not sure if these are the shoes for you.

Very comfortable shoe well made little tight across the top of my foot for the first day but broke in really well after one day of use
