The pattern is lovely but I really purchased this one (I have many Vera bags) for it's size. I am a very tiny lady with arthritis and it's very hard for me to carry a regularly heavy piece of luggage. I tend to do better with Vera bags and just not over fill them. This one holds a good amount. You can put easily have a couple changes of clothes, sleepwear, a small cosmetic bag and a pair of shoes no problem! It really is a great size and a pretty bag.
