The quality of the umbrella is very good; as is all of the Vera that I have. Auto open & auto close. Of course, even though I did need a new umbrella, I simply love the Best in Show design. I ordered as soon as it became available because when Vera did the cat design, I wasn't able to get that umbrella since it sold out really fast. Now I have some of the cat design & of the dog design that I can use together (as any animal lover would). I just wish they would be sharing some of the profits with animal shelters.

It hasn't rained yet but this umbrella seems to be a very high-quality. Love the push button retraction so you don't have to pinch your fingers trying to close it.
