I bought two pairs and had to go back for a third. These pants are the most comfortable I have ever worn. Breathable to help those who are active at work (or for recreation). They move with you and stretch so they are easy to use for something like an unplanned hike. They pack easy and resist odor, perfect for anyone trying to save room for souvenirs when they pack. Will use these every time I travel going forward

The fabric and cut are both excellent. This pant breathes well for the hot Texas summer, move well, and the fit is great. Thank you for making an excellent product.

I've had pairs of pants that I have liked... a nice fitting pair of jeans or a nice looking pair of slacks, but these Evolution pants are amazing. I received two pair stuffed in my mailbox within the shipping bag, and they came out looking good. No wrinkles were visible when putting them on. I put them on and they fit and felt great. The fabric moves and breathes well. I read in another review somewhere that they felt cheaply made. I couldn't disagree more. Lightweight does not equate to cheaply made. The stitching is correctly placed with no loose threads anywhere. The fabric is strong with a tight weave that still breathes. I also saw a separate review that didn't like the texture of the outside of these pants, but I disagree strongly with that as well. The outside surface of the fabric has a texture and weave that has a slight coarseness, but it makes the nylon feel like a natural fabric and it feels good to the touch. The fit is true to size. I am not a slim guy and these fit very well. I also like that some extra material is included in the hem so they could be extended if needed. I bought these to be travel pants, and I am fully optimistic that they will serve that purpose well. In the meantime, I have been wearing them to work and plan on buying at least three more pair of various colors.

It is compact and light weight, the same decent feeling as the Evolution Pant. I like the string at the waist, I helps a lot when I am wearing it to have some adventures!

I was very impressed with these shorts. They look a little nicer than I was expecting so they can be dressed up as much as any shorts can be. They are also good at staying cool and being very breathable. I wore them while riding a bike for about 20 miles and they performed very well. The pockets are well made and the water repellent finish came in handy sooner than I had hoped.

These are perfect. Fit as comfortable as the evolution pant, the length is excellent, and the look fits in anywhere whether on a hike or in town (with a mask). If you lose weight wearing them with all the exploring you'll want to do then there's a little elastic tie to give you a more snug fit. The pockets hold their shape better than other lighter-weight shorts so you don't look like you're wearing a sack of bricks when carting phone/wallet/keys etc... Looking forward to traveling with these in the future. I will definitely get another pair...

I had to purchase a new pair with a smaller size waist because of some recent weight loss, and I knew they would fit very well on top of the advertised features. Western Rise has definitely earned my loyalty and I will continue to purchase their products in the future.

Just got them yesterday. Very well made. I own 2 pairs of evolution pants and I love this material, thikness and feel on the skin. I appreciate the shorter fashion of pant legs - most of companies does longer pant legs. It look more casual - more for the dinner out or to work then for the beach or hike. I stilI haven't try them out as in my region it is already cooler and looking forward in testing them. Also I like very much the drawstring puller - I didnt know about it when I ordered them. It is nice because one doesnt have to wear belt all the time

Love these. Lightweight, fitted, mid-thigh length on my 6', long-legged frame, and front pockets that are deep enough that the contents don't fall out every time you sit in the car.

These shorts have been great. They pair with everything, fit exactly like the evolution pant, sit nice above the knee and just overall work. as always i have nothing bad to say about this brand. Will def be ordering the other colors soon if not for next summer.

These shorts fit perfectly for dress , casual and performance. The length is spot on above the knee . The fabric metamorphosis for whatever your purpose for wearing it. Waistband sit ideally below the navel for true comfort . I'm glad it's made with nylon because I'm drawn to it most everytime Thanks Western Rise

These shorts are perfect, I love how they look and feel. Comfortable, stylish, rugged and all around perfect short for travel since it serves as a short and swim suit if needed. Keep up the great work Western Rise, just love your products!

I really enjoy wearing your Evolution shorts. They feel great and look great. I can't wait until they become available again to buy another pair.

My new go to shorts. High quality. Nice button. Length was good. Has a band you can tie that goes around the inside, I guess if you don't want to wear a belt. I tried it and the knot rubs up against my skin, maybe not the nest idea. Also, not a huge fan that it's not made in the USA.

Great fit, great fabric. Everything that's great about the evolution pant in a short. Color of the khaki is as it appears.

Very light, durable, and great looking. Curious how functional the inner drawstring will be, haven't tried using it yet. I'd like to see a grey color of these shorts!

I'm an active dad of 5 kids so I'm always on the go. Biking with my daughter, kayaking on Lake Michigan, grilling brats and burgers for hungry teen boys and all the while in my new Western Rise shorts. The best shorts I've owned and my favorite part is you can wear them every day until it snows here. Great weight, feel and simple style so you look like you are comfortable but more stylie than ordinary shorts. Glad I discovered Western Rise. My spring and summer have been so easy and fun. Great brand.
