I purchased a pair of these through the Kickstarter and Since receiving them I avoid having to wear any of my other pants at all costs. Just purchased a second pair and couldn't be happier to do so.

I truly love these pants.They are supernaturally light and extremely comfortable. I was worried that they wouldn't be appropriate business attire but they indeed are. I love the pocket for my phone and the security pocket in back. They are easy to care for and will definitely be accompanying me in my travels. Love that I can wash them quickly in the sink and hang to dry overnight. I am glad to have them in my closet and especially glad that I had the foresight to order two pairs when they were available!

Just want to say thanks. I have bought a pair of pants together with a merino t-shirt on Kickstarter and used them on a mountain hike. Just perfect : stretchy, breathing, comfortable. Very happy to have bought them.

Got my charcoal evolution pant a couple weeks ago. Fits me perfectly! Love the multiple large pockets and details. The fabric was thinner than I expected though. And I wore it thru the recent Socal rain storms and it definitely was not very water resistant. But overall am happy with the purchase.

Western Rise spoke, and they delivered big time. Not only did they stay true to everything they said these pants would be able to offer, the staff have been very quick and polite when it comes to customer service. Initially, the pants I ordered were too small, and the staff were very quick to help out. They said delivery of a new size might take a while, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a new package of properly fitting pants less than two weeks later. I will absolutely be purchasing two more pairs in each of the other two colours once I get the funds to do so, and strongly recommend these to anybody else that leads a highly variable lifestyle and are looking for sleek, comfortable pants that blend right into any wardrobe.

I am so close to 5 stars in every way, and perhaps the lack of 1 star is simply because these would be ideal if they had a slip pocket on the thigh for a mobile device. Otherwise I love these in every way. The color is more "indigo" than I expected from the images, but I understand the variation in monitor colors. Otherwise, these are cozy, stretchy, seem durable, great on the lighter weight side. I feel like I could dress these up or down.

These are great shorts. Lovely fit and similar in quality to the evolution pants (of which I own three). One downside, the back pocket it too big and my phone keeps sliding to horizontal in the pocket. Would love one of the pockets to be easier to securel fit a phone.

I think these are good shorts. I'd get them as pants because it is great material. Light and stretchy. Although, I've just purchased Outlier SDs and Lululemon ABCs. The Evolution would be right in between those in terms of lightness. The cut seems a bit slim for shorts but that may be me, or I have not adopted the new look yet. Ian at Customer Service is top notch and sends personalized and detail oriented responses. Definitely a huge plus and should relieve any apprehension in purchasing this brand, given the price point.

Has been excellent. I have most of the colors and these pants seem indestructible. I wear them biking, running and beaching. One minor production error on my last pair: the zippered rear pocket was not stitched closed on one side - but don't expect me to return them:

This was my first pair of tech pants and I'm really enjoying them so far. The synthetic nature takes a bit to get used to and they look a little more casual than I anticipated but overall pretty good. My first pair was just a hair too small and I was able to exchange for one size up extremely easily which was appreciated.

These pants are so comfy and light, I would love to buy more. Hopefully they come in 30" length eventually. They are incredibly long and I will need to hem them all for them to fit better.

I have a black one and bought navy pants. I absolute love them. So light and comfortable. I would get another pair sometime soon

Pants fit great. Experience was good

These are super comfortable and light pants. My legs are long and I wish there was an option for a longer inseam. As it is, the jury is still out for me on whether I will be keeping them or returning them because of the length. I really want to keep them because I haven't found other pants like them. But I'm not sure I can live with the lack of length that makes them ride up just a little too high on my ankle/calf.

These are the most comfortable and versatile pair of pants I've ever owned. I only wish the size 28s were ever in stock. Almost impossible to get a pie and it's pretty frustrating. Skinny guys need new pants too!

I'm enjoying these! Not as flexible as Lulu pants but hoping the tougher material works better for warmth and water resistance. Feel comfortable and seems like I will be able to wear them for a long time

I was looking for an alternative to denim during the hotter/rainier months, and these are a great option!

I thought they would regular pants. Then I wore only them. Pants move with you. No chaffing. Dirt falls off.

I like the overall style, stretch, and fit of the evolution pants. Although only coming in 1 length size makes them a little short for me (I'm 6'3"). The only real negative is the price. $120 for a pair of pants is just to much.

The pants seemed very nice and I liked the colors, they were too long for me though. If western rise offered length options I think I'd only buy pants from here

Like the pair of pants and the color. Waist is a little tighter than the usual for my size, recommend bumping up a half size (i.e. if you are usually a 34 go with the 35). Enjoy!

I really like then overall. I wish they were a tad stretchier for when I sit down. But they're very stylish and modern, you could dress up or dress down. Kinda like lulu lemon meets Patagonia. And priced accordingly! I feel like they should be more in the $80-100 range.
