I bought this a couple weeks ago, and since then, I've already been using it as my EDC, and taken it on a few hikes and adventures. The pack carries better than any small pack I've had, and organizes really well. Even with a change of clothes and some odds and ends in the main compartment I've always had some space left over to cram miscellaneous items, or foraged items, eg., a bag of wild apples my son and I found on a hike. Very comfortable pack too, great suspension for a small pack. I think I could comfortably do a 1-3 night trip in the summer with this pack.

The size makes this pack great for EDC or a Weekend away. I use this while work as a Paramedic Battalion chief for EDC, carrying my daily training and personal equipment. I now have 4 Mystery Ranch packs I trans back and forth from depending on my daily or weekly needs.

Been using this bag for a few weeks now as an every day bag for work and the gym. Comfortably fits an extra pair of shoes, pants, and work shirts in the main compartment as well as my firearm while working out. The material feels tough and I believe it will last me quite a while. Have taken it out for some range days as well and the external pockets have the storage I need to fit small tools, pens, keys, knives, etc. No gripes with this bag yet, looking forward to taking it outdoors more this summer!

I just picked this up as my go-to travel bag. I needed something with exterior pockets and a hard back frame to protect my laptop and this is exactly what I needed. The quality is clear and the zippers are excellent. If this ever has an issue, I have no doubt the team is there to stand by their product and they have definitely gained another loyal customer.

I have yet to have the opportunity to use it in the field, but first impressions is that it will perform well for many years! This pack is replacing one that I've had since 2004, hopefully it lasts just as long! It seems to be made with quality products and quality control on its construction seems to be good. Time will tell.

Purchased this to lug around extra equipment/ammo for 2 gun action matches. Plenty of space and compartments for various items such as cleaning kits, water storage, magazines, etc

I was in between this and the blitz 35 and i am very glad i went with the blitz 30. The size is perfect for a 1-3 day hiking pack with the waist strap or an EDC pack in its compressed form. The bag is not super bulky or "tactical" looking enough to raise any eyebrows i got the foliage green color and it fits in any where looking like a hiking pack that doesn't scream im carrying a gun lol. The straps are well padded and comfortable, the buckles are all durable high quality stiff plastic material. Even down to the zippers are all lined with some sort of water resistant material to keep moister out. The zippers don't seem to snag or catch on anything thanks to this plastic/rubber type lining. The internal organization is great. I managed to stuff 2 32oz nalgenes, a large zoid bag with a jetboil one fuel can and about 2-3 days worth of meals in it at the bottom, 2 medical kits, 1 packable jacket, 1 rain cover. All in the main compartment. Not including the 1AR mag 1 Pistol mag and a rain pancho in the top compartment and various flash light batteries and other minor sustainment gear in the front 2 pockets. All in all i would recommend this pack to anyone looking at doing extended 1-2 day hiking, or anyone looking for a good vehicle bag that can sustain your for 1-3 days, or an oversized EDC pack. If you go the EDC route you will have an abundance of room with this pack depending on your needs an what you carry

I bought this pack for short work trips so I am primarily using it as luggage rather than hiking. It barely fit my 15" laptop, but it fit and seems well protected. Adjustment of the harness was extremely easy and the pack fits what I need for my trips. Very compact and well built. Definitely happy with the purchase!

Finally used the pack on a 4 day trip. This will be a great pack for traveling. Just the right amount of pockets for organizing, but not so many you have to go through all of them to find your stuff.

I bought this to replace my old assault pack that I've had since my 2003 Iraq deployment. It was primarily supposed to be a hunting back but I loved it so much that I use it for work and I'm getting a second one to use for hunting.

Great Pack! Well made and light-weight. Lots of space and versatile. I really like this pack. The wife and I are going on a trip to the frozen tundra soon so bought this for a day pack. I slipped my AR-7 into the laptop pouch so it's well protected, strapped my knife to the outside and will throw in a fresh set of dry clothes. This pack is perfect for my needs.

I have utilized a variety of Mystery Ranch packs of varying sizes through my military career, and I wish that the Blitz 30 had been available then. I just purchased 2 of these, 1 for everyday carry and the other for outdoor/ gobag. The placement of the pockets, straps and molle are in the perfect locations for easy access and organization while not interfering with the main compartment. The addition of the side zip access for the laptop plus the small clip straps have put this pack over the top with regards to my expectation. I am beyond impressed with this pack!!

I had a 2 day assault for a few years and decided to upgrade to this bag. The main compartment is slightly smaller than a 2 day assault. The zippers are great, the 2 front pockets make for better organization than the 2 day assault had. I don't know if I'd pay full price for it though. That's a steep price for pretty much the same thing as a 2 day assault with better organization. The water bottle pockets have a hard time holding a hydro flask because it slips out when bending over or when the bag gets tipped over, but nothing a caribiner can't fix. I was worried when I bought the coyote that the color of the material was going to be lighter and shiny, similiar to pictures online. But luckily it does not shine and the coyote is good and dark. It's a perfect work bag with the main compartment having designated areas for the most common items like a laptop, iPad, and notebook with enough room to still hold a change of clothes.

Good features balance simplicity and organizational ability. An internal velcro panel would have been helpful. Internal water bottle pockets and laptop sleeve are great.

I use a backpack daily to carry items for work. This backpack is great. Not too big and not too small depending on what you carry everyday. The zippers are well made and the material is durable. I do wish there was a tunnel for the back for air to flow through on the backside of the pack when carrying it and additional pouches for the side in the same color (forest) that I could purchase. But, in all this is an outstanding backpack.

Great hiking pack. Lots of padding against the back and the waist and chest clips help balance the load. It seems to have the perfect number of pockets and dividers and all are useful.

I've been using it every day since it arrived. So far so good. Craftsmanship is top notch. Nice array of pockets and storage. It's serves double duty as my duty bag so it will see plenty of abuse. Now I just need to remember where I put everything when I made the switch and I should be good. I think the size is just right. Not too small but not overly big and cumbersome.

I've been carrying the MR 2-day assault pack for many years, and I like it. The thing I was missing was more external organization. MR created this pack and met my needs. Super convenient for those little articles and easy access. Now my EDC pack is the Blitz. My laptop feels well-protected and still has enough room to put a tablet and other gear in. The pack also feels small, but I can still pack more than my 2-day assault. It also doesn't feel like my gear is bouncing everywhere. One thing that I would like to see is CCW on this pack. That would be a perfect pack. Overall, I'm satisfied and comfortable with a day hike. Hope that helps

Replacement for 14 year old work pack, lots of separate pockets with dividing sleeves for organization. Unique custom fitting system makes the pack more comfortable. Seems to be very weather resistant so far, great zippers. Convenient access
