I returned the satchel. My mom has been purchasing this style for many years. I bought it for a birthday gift and returned it. The side leather pulls are not the same thickness as the one I bought for her in the spring or past years. The satchel didn't open as far making it difficult to get her things in and out. I usually purchase the purses at the Vera Bradley store in Kenwood Mall. The store has moved twice within the mall and has a smaller selection than the original and second location. I decided to order online this time. My mom was disappointed in the quality in a style and purse she has always loved. I returned it and had to spend an additional $6.00 to send it back (never cut the tags off). I won't be ordering again.

Very disappointed in the new Glenna bag I returned it

The Ribbons Plaid Glenna looked pretty online, but I have never been so disappointed in a VB product. The price went up, but the quality went down. The top opening feels more narrow than my (many) other Glenna satchels. The side cinches are not as detailed and pretty as the ones on the previous Glenna design, and they're fairly useless since the bag is already more constricted to begin with - they're just all around awkward and unattractive. There's no piping anywhere on the bag. My other Glennas have at least one VB tag on one of the outside pockets of the bag, and some also have a VB tag on the inside zipper pocket. I guess I shouldn't be surprised that this bag has no VB ID tags on it - I wouldn't want to put my name on this thing either. This will be the first Glenna I have ever returned. Please bring back the little, but noticeable beautiful details that make VB Glennas worth the price.

I am not at all happy with my purchase. The satchel is much smaller than the other 3 that I have bought. And has much more pink in person than it shows in your advertising.

This purse was not up to your typical standards. I ordered a similar bag several years ago and it was smashing. This one was sloppy, loose, and no comparison. I returned it.

I have purchased many Vera Bradley purses and luggage over the years ! Sadly with this purchase I was disappointed....... one word, the quality. This purse had many flaws! The Vera Bradley label was not centered, the purse ribbing was turned inward around the top of the purse on one side, the handles didn't lie right, the purse was oddly not holding a shape and was a bit lopsided. I am deeply saddened to see that VB is not focusing on the quality of their product anymore. I've been a fan for many years. Please listen to a customer Don't cut corners on making your products to make money! It will be a while before I look to buy.

The first purchase- from my first paycheck- from my first job back in 2005 was a Vera Bradley handbag. It is absolutely shameful how bad the quality of these bags have become since then. It's the same old story- product starts off strong, then- little by little- the quality is skimped on here and there- more and more- to maximize profits. Before you know it- it is a mere shell of the product it once was. The cotton feels cheaper than the fabric on sale at the craft store. The colors in the bag I received were so completely different than what was depicted online I thought it was a different bag at first. Also this bag is just too small for day to day use IMO which was irritating. Bottom line- these cotton print bags are NOT worth the price anymore.

The bag was BEAUTIFUL, just not the size I was expecting. I will have to return it and keep searching.

Not the same high quality Vera bag I am used to. I returned it, it was stiff, the bag made noise like it has plastic in the lining. The inner pockets don't have enough width to be useful. It was very cute but I remember soft pliable comfy Vera, not whatever this was. I have gone back to carrying my much older, soft, vintage Veras. I will not be returning as a customer

I returned it--too big. Looked more like a diaper bag. I like bags more tailored.

Really wanted something like the old Mandy. Outside pockets are too narrow and too deep. Outside slip pocket is useless. Tried cross body bags, but straps always twisted. Will have to wait for design that fits my taste!

I had bought a shoulder purse that had a wrist handle so was able to attach and finally open my purse.

I have had this bag for 4 months now and I am very unhappy with it the straps are falling apart for the amount of money I spent on this bag I should be able to use it a lot more and longer I will probably not buy from this company again

In 5 months of use, the body of the bag is great and perfect condition -- very gently carried. The strap design is horrible. The fabric is already wearing away on the underside of the straps and you can see the foam padding in the strap. Horrible! Worse then the straps that are just fabric. I thought it would be better, but it's terrible. Customer service advised me to send it back as defective. I think I just might! I love the Glenna, but I hate this new strap design. Even the all fabric straps weren't very good. How about some faux leather or leather straps? More durable materials and less fabric on the straps!! Just gets dirty and worn out long before the bag if you are a careful bag owner.

This may be the last Vera bag I ever buy. This is not a factory style bag -- but it feels like one. The lining is not cotton or even close. It's slick and plastic feeling and it makes horrible noise. This is the kind of thing that if you're digging in your bag in a movie theater people will shush you. You would make make less noise digging in a plastic shopping bag. It's embarrassingly loud and super slick. The outside looks great but I truly hate the lining. So much so that I'm thinking about returning it -- and if this is how they're making the bags I'm no longer a fan and won't buy any more.
