Normally wear 34 waist 34 length. Waist and length both seemed too big. Width of legs also very big. Too much stretch. Material felt soft and comfortable.

I purchased several items. When they fit, I rate them at 5 stars. The problem is that there is quite a bit of inconsistency in the fit of the same item in the same size. When I tried on 2 or 3 of the same item in the same size (this goes for shirts, khakis, and jeans), they each fit differently. The difference can be as much as 1 inch or more, and it can be in different areas of the garment. This makes buying on-line challenging. A couple of times I tried my size in a color I didn't like in the store to confirm fit, and then ordered the color I wanted on-line only to find the item I ordered fits differently than the same sized item in the store. I'm finding this is not limited to LL Bean. I encountered the same issue with other major brands as well as store brands.

These were not the same jeans that I ordered in the past which I wanted --- no stitching on the back pocket. They were pricey and not of the same quality. I am not unhappy enough to return them but will be hesitant to order from you in the future.

I love these jeans and have a few pairs in few colors. At least some colors have come with chemical strong smells (strong enough that I get a headache trying to wear them) that don't wash out even after a few wash attempts. I wish the quality control would catch this as I hate to have to return them for this. These fit perfectly and have enough stretch that they adapt as my waist sizes change, so I'll keep ordering them over time and hope that I don't keep getting smelly ones.

Too baggy, just doesn't fit right... at least for me.

Fit and wash were great however, the flex jean not for me. Much prefer 100% cotton.

Bought for my husband after he lost some weight. He had a pair just like these that he loved. These don't fit the same. I'm disappointed in the stitching quality. When I hang them up, the legs don't line up properly.

Very comfortable Jeans, but after just an hour of wear they seem to relax TOO much and feel exceptionally "baggy". They tighten up again after washing, but again seem to overly stretch as you wear them.

The stonewashed pair fit well. But the darker pair were to big. Same pants,same size just a different color. Were not even the same fit.

These jeans fit well and are comfortable. Only problem material is a little thin and wear out early in the knee.

I love the jeans. The person I spoke to encouraged me to get a larger size even though I wanted the smaller one. He was very convincing. When I got them they were too large. I was hoping to have them for the holidays.

Style and fit are as described. However, these jeans have a very funny smell and it's not going away after several washes.

Love the fit but much too long for a 29" length. It will cost more to return than to have a tailor shorten the pants. Any suggestions? My son wears these pants and all his jeans are from LL Bean. Never had a problem before.

These pants are very comfortable but have a snag in the fabric after the first time through the laundry. I wish they were more durable!

These jeans fit and look nice but they are blisteringly hot. Maybe up north they are ok but they are unwearable down south. I wish LL Bean would offer an all-cotton summerweight jean like they used too.

Overall, I really like the fit and feel of these jeans. The reason I don't rate them higher is the size of the zipper. The zipper is only 5 inches, and it doesn't accommodate all men without loosening the belt and unbuttoning.

I always like the quality of the product this time I was a little upset with the service one pair was the right size. The other pair was five sizes too big so I'm in the process of returning it.

Pants look great, at first, but stretch out by the end of day at the waist. From that point on, not so happy with them.

EVERYTHING IS OK EXCEPT FOR THE SMALL WOMEN'S ZIPPER.

The fit is perfect. It's not easy to find a 42 waist / 28 inseam. The legs are narrow, so I don't look like an 80 year old guy dressed in hippy-dippy, clown like, baggy, wide legs. What's horrible is the ridiculous, teeny-tiny, child or women's zipper. Outrageous.

I just bought these. I'm 5-11, 210 lbs. they fit well. However if you plan on wearing a belt it's going to interfere with your parts when you go to the bathroom. They're comfortable but I had to mark them down because of the zipper.

The problem I have with these jeans is that they are low wasted, and the fly opening is too small to get your hand into.

A little more snug in the waist than Levi's, but they fit well through the leg and feel like high quality.

Nicely made but the fit is way off. Got my husband his usual size of 33/30 and they were too large and long. The sales clerk convinced me to exchange we them for 32/29. Those were too tight and slightly short. Supposedly the same style as a pair that fits him perfectly but are in blue, not the gray I bought this time.

They're too baggy in the legs. You need too make a slim fit, out of regular denim, that sits at the waist like your standard fit jeans.
