This is a well-designed pant. Unfortunately, the proportions are a bit off. As someone with a 33" waste, and being only 5'8", I can;t really find the right size. No worries, I'll be warm and dry, even if my baggy pants look a little too 1980s hip-hoppish.

older models were one layer. These have multiple layers adding unnecessary weight making them less practical for backpacking

Really liked an old pair of TNF Venture pants from years ago but the quality has gone way downhill!! These fit terribly, way too baggy and bulky. And TNF's warranty is Useless!!

Sizing was way off. I'm above average height and even still I looked like a little rascal in these pants. I recommend buying in store.
