The backpack to shoulder bag conversion worked perfectly. However, this bag is like an awkwardly-shaped tote when used as a shoulder bag. Its large, but too wide for its size...for me at least.

Nice concept. But the bags too big for me I had to return it.

I love Vera. But, I must admit I was a bit disappointed in my convertible backpack purse. It's a bit large for me to just carry as a purse and it doesn't really convert well unless it is full. I lose things out of it all the time tuing ri get in and out of it when in the backpack style

Unfortunately this ended up not being the right size and style that I needed. It's a very nice bag but it was much larger than I realized when I ordered it. Thought I would like the backpack conversion feature but I prefer the crossbody style option at least which this bag did not have. I have returned it and ordered a smaller crossbody style.

You was looking for a small backpack for a trip and love the sunflower pattern. On the website, it looks more like a backpack than when you try it that way IRL. The top part of the purse, where the zipper is, kind of sticks out and looks awkward. I'm not sure I will use it.

Love the roominess.

The straps were too thin for me.

Larger than I expected - nice and roomy if you're looking for a purse this size. Downside is that in my opinion the fabric, shape and outside water bottle pockets made it feel a bit like a diaper bag. Conversion to backpack is pretty slick, works well for that style or shoulder bag.

I tend to like larger bags for travel and I really liked the backpack option of this bag. However there simply weren't enough pockets for me to keep everything organized. I ended up sending it back. Also, as other reviews have noted, it does pick up pet hair. I set it on the couch briefly and I was amazed how much cat hair clung to it. Wish the outside pockets zipped. I am reluctant to put things in outside slip pockets especially when tucking the bag under a seat on an airplane

The print is so pretty that I really wanted to like this. The concept is good but for a purse it's just too big and too floppy for me. It doesn't stand up, at all, as a backpack would. Sadly, I've returned it.

Love Vera Bradley but this bag was not for me. It is shapeless and the cotton material looked like a sack when I used it as a backpack. Not attractive at all. Sent it back.

I have loved the small backpack purses but a while back the configuration of them changed & they seem smaller & the front & side pocket areas don't suit me anymore, etc. (loved the light blue cat design from awile ago; was my all time favorite!) So when I saw this type of versatile design & colors online; I went to VB store & debated the orange & blue. Decided to try blue 1st just cause it would match more & if i liked it as well as i thought I would - would come back for the orange. Well I do love how easily it goes back & forth from bag to backpack & the size & pocket size, etc. Now the bad: I have 10 cats & before I even got it out of shopping bag there was so much cat hair already on it. Of course with having so many & having kitties my whole life, I'm no stranger to pet hair on things but this is a whole other level! Lint, fuzzies, everything collects on it & even the best of my lint rollers take several sheets to get it presentable. Again, love size, design, pockets, colors but having to de-fur/lint it several times a day is not fun. That's why I have put off getting the orange one. Wish I could give it 5 stars.

I was very disappointed with my new bag. It was 2 inches larger than shown on the website. Too big to be used as a shoulder bag.

Much larger then I thought it would be. Returning it but am finding that is not and easy thing to do.

I like how roomy the purse is. Has just enough pockets to store what I need. The only comments I have are that the fabric does collect a lot of lint and the lining got caught in the zipper once.

It is going to get dirty fast and I immediately needed to get fuzz off of it.

I think it will be lighter for hot weather as a backpack, but I wasn't overly impressed by it. Seems a little on the cheap side.

I didn't like the fact that it was floppy. It would not stand up. The top strap is too short.

I purchased this bag (in black) from a Vera Bradley outlet sale. I really love it! The size, style and functionality are perfect for me; however, it collects lint like nobody's business!! I have to keep a lint brush in the bag but it doesn't matter how often I brush it. It picks up link no matter what I do. It's a shame because I'd love to use it more often but right now, I wasted my money based on the use I'm getting out of it. Maybe other colors have a different finish.

Too big very disappointing

I bought this for my daughter who thought it was different then it actually was. The material isn't an easy wipe off, the product is bigger than appears.

Was a little disappointed in the way it was made. The quality is just not there the material is cheap. The bag concept was ok just poor quality.
