Too large for me!

Loved this bag but my 15.6 inch laptop did not fit in the laptop sleeve.

Kind of disappointed. I bought this bag a couple of years ago and it had 2 computer sleeve compartments inside.

I wasn't happy with this bag because, although it checks a lot of things off my list, it doesn't have enough room to carry a Vera Bradley lunch bag.

Sorry, nice bag but too big.

The description says it fits a 15 inch laptop. It barely fits and the it makes the outside pockets barely functional. I was very disappointed. Ended up paying for shipping for something I didn't end up keeping. Think twice if using this for your laptop.

The design of this bag is good but the laptop sleeve is flimsy. Not just with this bag, but in other recent purchases I noticed the quality of Vera Bradley has gone down a significant amount from what it used to be. My newer bags are falling apart when I have bags of theirs 10+ years old that hold up wonderful and still look great. It's sad to see because I love all the styles they have available but I'll be looking into other brands now. Still going to rock my old prints

I have more Vera Bradley pieces than I can count and have always been pleased with the quality. That, unfortunately, is not the case with the Commuter Tote. Both the interior and exterior fabric qualities are far from the standard. The lining is loose which makes it difficult to put things into the pockets and remove them. Thinking that I would grow accustomed to these things I used the bag, otherwise would return it. I would not recommend this particular bag.

While the fabric of this tote bag is lovely, I was very disappointed to find that the bag that was described as 15.5" wide on your website (which is what I wanted), actually measured 19" wide when I received it. I had to return it.

Too small for my needs, returned, and ordered the Work Tote, much roomier, more space for all the extras I like to carry..and the extra panel to loop over my suitcase handle.

The bag was to big

I have owned so many Vera Bradley bags over the years. Several are regular go to bags in rotation for me. I really love this Blue and White Ikat pattern but the bag itself is frustrating. The cardboard iin the bottom has been folded down the middle so the bag does not stand up on it's own. There is a big lump in the bottom of the bag all the time so it's hard to put thigs in the main compartment or to fill it completly since I don't want to stuff things in against my laptop. I really don't want a backpack for my computer but it seems like Vera Bradley doesn't make a tote laptop anymore. I have never seen the bottom folded through the middle before in a Vera Bradley Bag they are always folded up out of the way like a paper grocery bag. It is also not removable like other bags I have had so I can't just replace it. It was expensive and I am already looking for a different Laptop bag.

Great except for the open pocket used for slipping over luggage. If you mistakenly put something in this "not a pocket" you'll lose it. I sewed Velcro to bottom so if I do this inadvertently, I will not lose the item and I can still pull apart to hook over luggage handle. This should have at least a zipper on the bottom of this "not a pocket"

Larger than expected

While the material of this bag is phenomenal and it looks like it is structurally made well, the stitching on the bag I received is abysmal. While the stitching flaws on the bag are purely cosmetic, I expected a higher quality item and attention to detail with the high price associated with this bag. Without being used once the stitching flaws on the bag include bubbled up string and frayed pieces here and there around the whole bag. Almost as if the stitching wasn't tightened properly if that makes any sense. The initials stitched on the bag have the same issue with a few thread pieces bubbling up. Aside from the disappointing stitching, the other features of the bag look promising. The color is a deep matte black, the material seems sturdy, and the pockets are well placed.

The trolley sleeve could've been more useful with a zipper option that could've been used a pocket when not travelling. The tag attached to the bag mentioned a zipper trolley sleeve but that's not what the bag had.
