Well I bought four of them and I still have every one of them in different degrees of wear and for different activities. The oldest one is for working in the yard. It's my favorite jacket. It's so soft still even the old one looks decent. I had dog treats in the pocket with that one and my dog ate a hole in the pocket on the inside and I patched it up and it still working good.

I really love this jacket. It's very soft and quite warm. I wear it around the house as well as out as an actual jacket. On cooler windy days I was still warm and the wind didn't really cut through. It washes well and I have to say the online size guideline using your measurements is pretty spot on. It's a little roomy with just a tshirt underneath, but with layers it's perfect and doesn't feel tight or ride up on the hip.

I love it, but wish I'd bought a size down. I wear a Small or a Medium. In most brands Medium is perfect for me. I bought this North Face jacket in a medium, but definitely wish I'd bought a small. Great price though and I'll wear it anyway.

This is soft and warm! I use it during all of spring and fall seasons and half the time in winter! Love the inside pockets!

So comfy! My favorite uses are for mildly to moderately cold outdoor environments. I also wear it in the office due to the A/C. I typically wear a size small or medium in tops/jackets, and I purchased a medium. It fits great! I think a small would've also worked well, it would just be a little more form-fitting, which is not what I wanted.
