Had to return this item as it ran EXTREMELY small for my husband, so much so that I fear an XL would also be too small and I don't want the the disappointment and inconvenience of another return. Other than that, the item was perfect...and I remain a loyal and devoted LL Bean fan.

I have 3 pairs of these, and wear them quite a bit at home, or for a trip to the grocery store. They're very comfortable, and hold up well over time. However, they're a little short for my liking in my normal pant length. They're also a little warmer than I'd like for what should be a year round pant. Coolmax may help with sweat, but you can tell you're wearing a pant containing polyester. I'd like to see the Coolmax percentage reduced by 5-10% perhaps to help with that. I do like the Elastane, though. Finally, as many others have noted, for a men's pant, especially in this price range, they need a real zipper.

I DO like these pants. The fit and comfort are there. But why do you have the stitching outline for a zippered fly, but no zippered fly? Most Women's pants have no zippers for obvious reasons. Men take care of number 1 business standing up. I don't like having to pull down the front of the pants, especially in public places. For $80 you can add a zipper.

Years ago LL Bean sold a 100% cotton high waste pant with elastic waste plus drawstring and zipper fly with pockets. These pants were by far the most comfortable around-the-house pants I have ever had. I have not seen them for years. I have sewed and mended my original pair to keep them functional but the Mrs is getting increasingly troubled by their shabby appearance. I wish LL Bean would bring them back.

Loved the fabric. The length itself was shorter than the 32" stated.

The pants fit perfectly but I didn't think they're very comfortable. Most of the time when I wear something like this it's just for around the house, and all my other sweat pants are softer than these

Not as wonderful as some reviews. I should have known when the description said it didn't have a fly. I practically have to get undressed to use the restroom. It's not something I will wear very often. A competitor has similar pants with a real zipper.

The pants material is great as well as the length. The styling is fine. The waist fit may be standard but is really not with the tightening straps. I just can not get them tight enough to ensure that they do not drop. One pair is generally fine the other I may return. If I keep them I will have to use suspenders which is not the worst thing in the world. It is difficult to fine high cotton content in pants.

Love the pants but the rope belt broke after having these for about a year. It is almost impossible to fix. Probably need to bring to a tailor. Not sure they can be fixed-love the pants. Looks like there is a stitch in back that holds the two sides together but if I cut it not sure what will happen. For now I just pulled out the broken rope inside the channel and tied the 2 together...

Not a bad pair of pants, but if you're looking for an elastic waist that will hold up your pants, then these aren't the pants for you. Very little elastic in the waist, so you have to pull the drawstrings pretty tight to get a fit that won't slide down, which bunches up the front of the pants. You would think for they price they could put in better elastic.

The tie waist does not keep the pants from sliding down, no matter how tight! Wrinkle easily; washing and drying doesn't take out wrinkles.

These would have been a 5-star purchase, but the 34" inseam was actually 32". LLBean customer service was great, and sent another pair, but they were also labeled 34", but measured 32". After that, I gave up, but they appeared to be nicely made, and I love the dark khaki color.

As always L.L.Bean quality is tops. The problem is, when the length is right the waist is too snug and when the waist is right the length is too long.

Fits ok.Generally speaking all men's pants for many years have zipper flies that are way too short. LlL Bean is no exception. Not comfortable to use ! Appears that they are made for younger males ! I do like most of LL Bean clothing!

My husband loves these pants. They are comfy and fit perfectly. He uses them to do everyday things like outside tasks and grocery shopping with me. When washed however, they definitely need ironing, since they wrinkle badly. That fact prompted me to give them a 3 star rating instead of 5. In this age of speed, most people we know don't even own an iron.

These may have been a retuned item. There was a handkerchief in the pocket. Very odd but a nice pant.

Purchased one pair, liked them so much ordered a second pair, same size and length. Second pair came with a 29" inseam, not the 32" I ordered. Sent them back, ordered again with the hopes they will come as ordered.

At first it fitted well and really like the fabric, color and fit. But the length started to shrink after each wash and after a couple of months the inseam has shrunk to 26.5 inches and the pants were riding over my ankles. If you buy, I will recommend buying an inch longer and let it shrink to fit you. I did not notice much shrinkage in waiste, hip or thighs
