The only complaint I have is the 28" inseam is incorrect, closer to a 29 or 30. Otherwise the pants are very comfortable!

I gave these to my husband for his birthday. He loved the fit and feel of them. Unfortunately had to exchange for a different size. The 34 inseam was a little too long.

Quality is good. They fit in the waist fine and I am glad you have a 29 inch inseam available. The only thing I do not like are that the legs are too big around at the bottom. I have large calves and still have more room than I want.

Very comfortable, but as other reviewers noted there are no belt loops and there is no front zipper.

Great pants but adding a fly slot would make them much improved

I own several pairs of these multisport pants. They fit and wear great, and they look great except for the fact that the fabric on front of my thighs tends to pill after several wearings. They continue to wear fine, but the pilling becomes obvious after several wearings and detracts from their appearance.

Very comfortable fit, nice thin fabric and good deep pockets. The drawcord is thin and makes it hard to tighten at the waist. Because is hard to tighten, pants can lower easily when you start adding weight in the pockets, phone, wallet and keys. I would prefer belt loops or better anti-slip material in the inside waist.

Pants are really nice and soft, but they tie around the waist doesn't stay tight, but so what's new? A lot of drawstring pants have this problem. They are well made and very durable and comfortable

I like these pants but the tie string is slick and hard to get tight

Generally pleased, fit slightly long (small 28") I am a small guy (5'-4" 125 lbs.) My criticism pretty much echos many of the comments on this product. The material is fragile, easily snagged. an imperceptible brush can leave noticeable run in fabric. And secondly the lack of an operable fly is a real issue. A $70 pair of slacks should be user friendly.

Pants are great. Took them on a 4 day kayaking trip and wore them every night and some days. Plenty of room in them but they certainly aren't a baggy pant. I'm a 34-36 waist depending on the brand so I got the large. I am probably at the low end of needing the large. I do wish I could tighten the waist a little more or have a fabric belt on them. All in all, great pants and I would purchase again.

I ordered a 2nd pair. They have become my daily go-to pants at home. Very light and you barely know you are wearing them.
Down 1 star because 1) If they had a fly they would be much better 2) the adjustment cinch at the leg bottom is almost impossible to reach to make an adjustment; tucked away in the hem.
Highly recommend

My error. The style is great but the fabric wasn't what I wanted. Cotton is my fabric of choice for hot, humid conditions. Maybe Bean's will make these in cotton for next summer.

I guess I didn't read all the details, especially the material,I thought it they were made of cotton such as lounging pants. They we're pretty big for 38-40 waist, probably my bad I have ALWAYS lov d LL Bean products.I have been on a bad roll lately with sizes.Plus they were pretty pricey.

I bought three pair of these pants as soon as I saw that they come in 28 inch length.
They are lightweight for summer days and offer some sun protection.
With two changes, they could be great:
1) The "standard" fit sits below the waist; I am constantly pulling my pants up, which makes them look short. How about a pant that sits where it belongs -- at the waist?
2) The drawstring sits outside the pants instead of inside where they belong. Why would anyone design a pant with a drawstring that hangs outside from your waist?
I like these pants and recommend them. But these two things strike me as design flaws.

Perfect for running around town or camping, or simply sitting. Zippered pocket is great for wallet or cellphone.

Great feeling good fit but the pants have no fly but would be much better if they had a fly.

Would have been better for me if draw-string at waist was on inside.
Dislike the elastic at the hem.
About as comfortable a pant as I have owned.

I thought that I would try these pants at the gym and they worked great. They are comfortable, light weight and very cool. I have a pair of Multisport shorts for very warm days, but I find the pants to work very well on a normal workout of running, walking and a couple of classes. I have both 30" & 32" inseams and find the 30" to work better as they will move to lower waist during a workout. I typically wear 31" inseams on chinos and 32" on dress pants.
