I am very pleased with the pants I finally received after the gross quality control on the 1st pair I received... the first pair I received had one ankle with elastic and one without... at this price point I would expect much better quality control... after I called about the problem the person I spoke to was polite and prompt and I recieved the replacement quickly... I am very pleased with the final outcome but, since this was my first experience with Bean I was somewhat disappointed with the initial delivery.

Great material, don't care for the drawstrings that hang out in the front.

I like these pants but really hate the fake zipper. There is a small wasted zipper inside the pocket. Who needs that? The zipper needs to be a real Fly Zipper.

I received these as a Christmas gift and love them. They are extremely comfy and fit very well. I gave them 4 stars because they don't have a side cargo pocket. Yes they do have a secure zip pocket but it's a bit odd with the items in both pockets. If the pocket was further down, say another 6 to 9 inches, they would be perfect. Other than no cargo pocket these are a great pair of pants.

My husband is extremely picky about his clothes, he has discovered elastic waist pants the past few years. I ordered these pants for a Christmas present and he loves the comfort of the pants. The style is good not super baggy.

While generally a good fit and finish, the elastic waist band and draw string are too flimsy. Waist band is weak & draw string is thin. Otherwise good weight and fit.

I was looking for stretch light weight pants when I found these. I liked the first pair of these pants so much I bought a second pair. Great bum around pants that are still good enough to wear out in public. Only drawback is that there is no fly in the front.

I like them a lot, but kind of thin for winter. A lining would help

Great fit and very comfortable. I like the style. Only knock is the lack of a fly.

Nice pants - I use them for workouts with the cooler weather. Only complaint is that these pants do not have a fly, which is a bit inconvenient. I suggest Bean add a fly to these pants.

Nice material, durable. Looks nice for smart casual leisurewear or indoor climbing.

Good fit at the waist (XL) and available in a length I need (28"). Wears very comfortably as I would expect from LL Bean. Would certainly buy another pair.

These pants have the comfort of pajamas but work great in a variety of casual settings where pajamas just won't do - like yard work, the gym, a back yard party. The zippered pockets are angled comfortably and there is an extra hidden pocket for your phone. But don't wear them in cold weather; the cold cuts right through them. I am 5'7" and 147 pounds. I found the large to be too large and the medium to be a bit snug in the rear. The crotch is generous, though.

Great Fit, but very little weight. Biggest negative is the ankle closures, if you tighten them, they are difficult to untighten.

Wonderful pants! Exactly what I was looking for. Great fit and feel. Only downside is the cost. For $70 you ought to get 2.

Bought these as warmup pants for winter indoor tennis and they work great. The best thing is that these pants came in my desired inseam length of 30 inches. Most other medium pants come in a 32 inch length.

I'm writing this review with details, that will hopefully help someone else, with this online purchase. I am 5'9, 198lbs. I do workout, so its' not all fat, 27% BMI. I'm broad chested with a moderate belly for a middle aged man. I do run and strength train, but slim fit clothing doesn't work for me. I wear a 16-1/2 shirt (large) and a 34x31 pant size. I ordered these pants primarily for lounge wear for the cold Chicago winter. I ordered a Medium w/ 30 inseam. This size was spot on for me, perfect comfortable waist and long enough. There were a few drawbacks for my liking. They would have be amazing if they had a zipper. It's a chore to hourly un-tie and pull down to take a wee. Also they are not breathable. I laid down w a throw across my legs and they do generate a fair amount of heat. So much so, to make your legs calmy. However, I do like the texture of the material. It states that they are made with recycled materials so they don't have that polyester sticky feel, not like cotton either, somewhere btw. They do state that they shed water, so a feel of something like that . Lightweight material. I will not be wearing these out in the cold. I do like how the leg lays on top of my shoes, more straight legged, but not tapered. There's a cinch cord at the bottom of each leg for a desired fit. Overall, I wish there was a zipper and a charcoal gray color option, but I have chosen to keep them. 4 stars.

The only complaint I have is the 28" inseam is incorrect, closer to a 29 or 30. Otherwise the pants are very comfortable!

I like the pants. Would like to have a second pair.

I gave these to my husband for his birthday. He loved the fit and feel of them. Unfortunately had to exchange for a different size. The 34 inseam was a little too long.

Really comfy, slightly less warm than the chimney peak pants

Quality is good. They fit in the waist fine and I am glad you have a 29 inch inseam available. The only thing I do not like are that the legs are too big around at the bottom. I have large calves and still have more room than I want.

Very comfortable, but as other reviewers noted there are no belt loops and there is no front zipper.
