Overall this is a nice undergarment. My only complaint is that the waist band is too tight and almost to the point of being uncomfortable. The material and quality of the garment met all expectations.

The pants section fit perfect, but the waist band is way too tight.

I had been wearing the pants often and enjoying the fit and feel. I evidently leaned against something and got a quarter-sized spot on a knee. My wife can't seem to remove it. Ugh. Larry

Received this as a gift. I'm a merino snob. These aren't particularly warm and stick to my skin. Returned for a natural material.

Runs small. I have a 33" waist and these are much too tight. They are uncomfortable after only 15 minutes of wear, and an actual relief when I take them off. On the plus side, these are well made and warm.

They're loose. The groin area is too loose that it doesn't feel "secure" during a walk or any kind of movement. I personally prefer a tighter fit around the groin. The calves are also a bit too loose for me. They're great for light activities or even sleeping in them. Overall, the material is stretchy and comfortable.

I ordered long johns for my husband. The box read M, but they were tight. Also looking for washing instructions- Everything on the tag was in Chinese. Would have been good in English. They were tight.

Fair fit. Little tight in waist and legs needed an extra inch of length. Material a bit rough.

I've been a Bean customer for decades. Your gumshoe is my signature shoe. Your jackets and winter coats were the only ones I ever wore. I buy my base layer long underwear exclusively from you. I've bought mock turtlenecks from you forever. All of these items could be purchased elsewhere, but your quality and long lasting nature of the products always made my purchases more than worth it. When you changed the waistband design on your base layer pants to a wider band that hugged your waist better, I was thrilled. But I had two pair that the waistband separated from the rest of the pant after a few months. I wear these pants regularly and never had an issue with wear and tear - they would last years. I made a claim with you on this issue thinking it would be a no-brainer to get some kind of compensation for what I thought was either poor design or poor construction with the new waistband, only to have my claim summarily dismissed by you as normal wear and tear. That was a betrayal by you to a long time customer who knows the product well. No acknowledgement on your part of a flaw. And that turned me off to buying from you again. So disappointing to lose you as a trusted merchant.

The legs keep rising up and stay at mid-calf. I would not buy this product again!!

Have yet to get the bottoms. Wrong size originally sent . Returned 3 weeks ago.

I sent these as a Christmas gift, so I will not know until my son tries these on whether or not they fit.

These did not keep me warm at all. I actually think they made me feel colder, my legs felt like popsicles

Too small. Waist band leaves marks. I kept it in the bag for 2 weeks before I opened it. 50 bucks thrown out the window.

I wasn't expecting a sort of polyester "body sock". There's absolutely nothing warming at all about the garment. No insulating air layer. And the waist band is very tight (I'm a 37 in. waist). And there is no elastic stretchy band at the ankles; its just like an open pant leg. I don't think I'm going to keep it. Its really badly overpriced for what it is. Given the favorable reviews, I suspect it was resourced.

they are short and the ankles are so wide I could fit both legs in one. I am going to try and send them back.
