Both pair fit excellent, hope to wear and have them a long time.

The midweight underwear work well under nylon pants down to single digit temps during moderate to vigorous activity.

I wore these on a recent ski trip to Colorado. With temps in the single digits I wore them with another pair of long underwear and LL Bean Gore-Tex ski pants. I never got cold. I also wore them under blue jeans when we went out at night, either for a walk or to a restaurant. They're heavy enough to keep me warm, and light enough to wear under regular pants. The length and waist fit perfectly.

Quality product that is perfect for staying warm when working outdoors. Specifically purchased to wear under the Navy working uniform. Washes well, no pilling or static.

Most thermal underwear are too short in the back and pull down on the backside when you bend over. The LL Bean underwear has a wide elastic band that holds tight all day even when you bend over. I got a pair of the medium weight and light weight, the light weight are light enough that when you are inside they are still comfortable, not too warm to the point you are sweating.

Great fit, comfortable, very pleased with this purchase.

This is a good set of base layer bottoms. They run just a little snug in the waist which is why I gave them 4 stars rather than 5. They provide the warmth I was looking for.

Light material but keeps me warm and is perfect for cold weather.

I ordered crew shirt and pants. The fit and feel seem good. Fit is snug, but that's what I expected for a medium, given my height and weight, and wanted for a first underlayer for skiing, etc. However, for an "outdoors company" the packaging seems wasteful and not environmentally sound. Each item came in it's own little box and both of those were inside a much bigger box.

5'11' 190 lbs, Large size, good comfortable fit, retains shape and fit after first few washing. Closer to a light weight layer than medium weight.

Not quite as heavy as anticipated but that's on me. Still a fine product that fits well.

Will use as legging underwear; it is not as loose as I wanted; it is pretty snug-fitting, like elastic exercise leggings.

These pants are light enough but have kept me warm while shoveling New England snow. I give it a 4 because the band is quite wide and somewhat scratchy against the skin.

They are pretty easy and comfortable. But the fabric pulls a lot! Still work as an under garment

Good fit. Comfortable. Keeps me warm. Waistband is a little snug. I just ordered two more!

These are just regular, non high tech long johns. Nothing fancy here, normal fit, and a smooth fabric surface that doesn't cling to my trousers. I bought them for cool days on my motorcycle and they do the job.

I have owned several LLB base layers over the years. The mid weight one is quite "thick" and plenty warm enough. My "except" comment is because the cuffs are not elasticized but rather just loose! Bad idea if you plan to wear these with running shorts as your ankles are cold! Also, a chore to pull your socks up over! Guess OK if you are wearing under pants though. Waist band is quite thick and comfortable. Not sure about durability yet.

Like the fit and the material. Only problem that I see is the waist band is so wide that it tends to roll down. It can't be anything to do with my belly!

Overall this is a nice undergarment. My only complaint is that the waist band is too tight and almost to the point of being uncomfortable. The material and quality of the garment met all expectations.

The pants section fit perfect, but the waist band is way too tight.
