As with several other Bean items I've purchased lately, the quality of these jeans has totally tanked. The fabric and fit are all different than they used to be. These fit weird and don't have much stretch. I've been wearing these jeans for years, but will be returning them and finding a new go-to.

Sadly, the RISE is way too long ...I have multiple inches of excess fabric in the front rise. Wish I could get custom jeans with the rise altered to be shorter... The rest of the jeans fit fine.

What is there to say about these strange jeans? I ordered my size 10 like my other Bean Flex jeans but this time in the skinny leg. I could get the waist closed, but in no way wanted to live with it, So, what the heck, I returned them for size 12's. Whoa! The waist was pretty much the same, but the hip and thigh area was fit for a fine courtesy to the Queen! I do not have a female hourglass figure and have always been a perfect junior size 11. Returned the jeans. Through with Bean jeans, just not a fit for me anymore, in any size.

I've bought Bean's jeans in a size 2 and they've fit plenty of times, but these are terrible. No way are these mid rise - high rise on me for sure. Also the ankle opening is so small I can barely get my foot in. From the knee down they're very tight which makes them bulk around the knee. And the waist must be an inch too small. Awful awful.

Very disappointed with these jeans. I've worn size 14 for decades and the fit of these is confusing: the waist doesn't come close to closing; the so-called skinny-legs are actually baggy.

I bought these jeans in the darker wash first and loved them, so I ordered the lighter wash. Same size. The lighter wash is 2-3 inches smaller in the waist. So disappointing.

Small for size. Very tight at leg openings, but thigh was loose. Could not fasten at waist. Returned, but kept straight leg style,

I was hoping to get these jeans to fit correctly even with all the reviews on the waist discrepency size. The material is wonderful and they are nice looking, but I fell into the same trouble as many of the reviewers. The waist/hip ratio is way off on these jeans. You have to size up 1-2 sizes to get correct waist, (waist is SO TIGHT) but then the rest of the pant is too baggy and is no longer a skinny jean and just looks wrong to wear. With all the repeated reviews addressing this waist issue, I am surprised this problem has not been corrected. It appears it has been a problem for a while. I would think LLB would like to keep their customer base, but if reviews go unheard, why should customers post them to begin with. Please fix and I will come back and repurchase.

Why no bean flex straight leg classic fit/high rise??? If people want skinny jeans they can take them in. Better yet - bring back item # 298928 that was 95% cotton and 5% spandex. They were perfect!

I usually wear a size 6 pant. These were much too small and were returned.

I order this pair of jeans in the exact same size and what I thought was the same style as a pair in a different color that I have really enjoyed. Sadly, there is obviously no consistency in sizing as this pair fits about two sizes smallerI can't even get them buttoned! I will be returning this pair.

I wear an 18W in pants. I couldn't even close the front to zip it up. Super disappointed.

These jeans run small in the waist. Legs fit fine but the waist is ridiculous

I enjoy a slim jean so that they are not too bulky and thought these might work. Unfortunately, these jeans fit like leggings--too tight for me. The material is nice for jeans but not for leggings.

I bought a pair of these jeans in a different color last year and it fits so great that I ordered a new pair which arrived last week. The new pair is a good 1 inch smaller at the waist than the previous one and is too tight. The older one is made in Indonesia, the new one in Mexico. Where is the quality control? I have to return and exchange the new one for a size 6. Very disappointed, and a waste of my time! My rating is based on the bad sizing and my inconvenience

Not true to size. Extremely small and couldn't get them past my knees

I loved these jeans, but they have changed. I have worn these in a size 8. This new pair of size 8 is way too small and my weight has not changed. Might try going up a size, not sure.

This is the second LLBean jean product that has disappointed me. The first was True Shape. They both lose their shape and elasticity, despite washing in cold water and air drying. They are totally baggy around the hips and thighs now.

These pants came up over my belly button, unlike the way it was advertised as sitting below the waist. It was very tight in the waist, and I have a small waist, but it was extremely roomy in the buttock and thigh area. The calves were also super tight, and I have thin legs and calves. I felt like circulation was being cut off on my ankles, but had an extra two inches to spare in the thigh area. Who is shaped this way? This made the jean feel very uncomfortable, as I prefer a looser waist with a tighter fit on the buttock and thighs. These jeans are the opposite of comfortable and were just ill-fitting all around.

I ordered the same Jean same size as in September. I couldn't even get the new order over my hips. I weigh 95 lbs and haven't gained any weight since September. Disappointed

I was not pleased with the fit of these jeans . They were the correct length and size but the extreme elasticity made me uncomfortably aware of them. Not for me!!!!

The fit was way off for me- The waist was OK, crotch area baggy and the calves where very tight

These were the tightest size 8 I've ever got from L.L. Bean. Sent them back.

These did not fit & I had to return them, way too small.

Jeans stretch so much. Very unhappy with them. They sag and stretch 2 inches in the waist.
