Not enough stretch to these. Tried a size 6, one size smaller than I usually wear and they were still baggy in the hip/thigh area. Unfortunately, these did not fit like true skinny leg jeans. Would not recommend to a friend

These do not fit like a skinny jean. I thought I received the wrong pair at first based on the description compared to what I received. Very disappointed, especially considering the price.

I recently lost weight and needed to buy another pair of these in a smaller size. I love the fit and look of them but they smell terrible! I have washed them many times, including in vinegar, which usually takes away bad odors. Nothings works to take the smell away permanently. This is really disappointing because other than the smell, I love the jeans.

Something got messed up with the fit. I have 2 other pair.. these arrived with a different cut.. wider hip, higher waist. I tried to wear them but they just weren't the Favorite fit I love I returned them.

I have been buying L.L. Bean Women's True Shape Jeans, Slim-Leg in a size 14 Tall for yeas, some of my favorites. The waste-band on the true shape sits truly on your waist and is a little high for my liking. I decided to try these jeans as I thought the waste-band sat lower then true waste. They were awful for me. Not even a true denim and the medium tall was way too short. Fit was tight around waste and loose around butt. And once again too short. They were almost like long capris on me. Returned.

These are not made for someone short-waisted. They looked and felt terrible.

I have purchased these jeans in the past, and they have been my favorite jeans until now. I recently ordered two new pairs in the same size as my older pairs, and after a lengthy wait, they recently arrived. On first wear, I could barely button them. My weight has not changed, so I measured them against the older pair, and the waist on the new ones is two inches smaller than on the older pairs. The same is true of the second pair. I am so disappointed! I have always counted on LL Bean for consistency in sizing and quality control in online ordering. I hope LL Bean will take note of the increasing inconsistency in garment sizing, and will improve quality control. I do not want to lose confidence in online ordering due to inconsistency.

I purchased the size I wear in all my jeans and these were too small in the waist. I measured them against other jeans and they were about 2 inches smaller, Fit good through hips and thighs just couldn't fasten at waist.

Good fabric but Baggy in the hips. Looked bad.. I returned them.

I already own a pair of the pull ons, which are great. Decided to try these to get a color I wanted. Ordered a size up knowing there wouldn't be an elastic waistband. They were too small for my chubby belly and too big for my skinny legs. I returned them with disappointment and the hope that Bean will expand their color options for the pull ons. Great quality denim for these products, BTW. If you get them, I recommend avoiding the "black." I ordered the black color once and I felt it was more of a grayish green.

I purchase these jeans in 2017. They are my favorite jeans so I thought these would fit the same way. I read the reviews that they don't fit the same but decided to try them anyway and purchased two pair. The reviews were right and I sent both back. Needless to say, I was disappointed.

I'm not sure in what universe these jeans could be considered to sit "lower on the waist." They came up about an inch or two below my bra. They're also pretty baggy around the waist/crotch area. I had to keep hiking them up.

They did not fit right, they have a jodhpur fit to them. This is new this year. Bought a pair in white last year, fit okay. However the leather tag has been staining the pants. Took the tag off and trying to wash the stain out, have washed to pants more than I have worn them. LL Bean had no suggestion how to remove the stain, and can't take them back because I removed tag. I can't get a new pair because the style has been changed, maybe next year it will change again and I can try another pair.

Not skinny or slim legged. Fits like bad Mom jeans. Fabric attracts lint easily. Big disappointment.

I really liked these jeans. Not too much stretch, thick material, appropriate waist height, and good leg fit; however, the one leg's inseam was cut crooked and I constantly felt like my pant leg was twisted. They got returned.

I've always had good luck with LLBean jeans, however, this pair was very tight in the legs. I know they are skinny jeans, which I've had before, but these didn't have much stretch to them. I don't carry my weight in my legs, I didn't expect them to be so tight. I had to return them, but LLBean is great about returns, never a problem.

I always order a size 4 jeans and they fit perfect. These jeans, however, fit more like a size 6 to 8. The only form fitting part was below the knee which makes them look a little strange. To be as baggy as these are they should have a straight leg to balance out the look. Also the waist is too large. I can get away with no belt, but barely.

I wear size 12 in other LLBean jeans and these were awful.

I selected these pants because of how they looked on the model, form fitting. Bad choice! While the waist fits well the thighs and backside of the pants look like balloon pants. Very disappointed. I'll wear them for gardening but those were not my intentions. I would need to have a big full buttock to fill these puppies in.

I wanted to like these jeans, but for me, they had no redeeming qualities. The fit was bizarre. Favorite Fit is described as sitting slightly below the waist. These jeans sat two inches above my belly button! When I order a Medium Tall, it's because I need the extra length in the inseam, not in the rise of my pants! The waist was slightly tight, but they fit very loose in the thigh area and then tapered to a tight ankle - balloon pants cinched at the ankle. I wouldn't consider them true to size, but I couldn't submit a review without choosing an option. It's nice others like these. For me, my search for the perfect jeans continues!

I loved how these jeans fit--everywhere except around my ankles. While I like the snug fit of skinny jeans, the ankle area of these pants was too tight. I had to struggle to get my foot through the leg opening and it just was not very comfortable, so sadly, I had to return them.

Since the return of high- rise pants, it's been difficult for a long waisted woman to find a good fit in pants or jeans. I wish clothing companies catered to Women's sizes instead of trends. That said, I was disappointed to receive the only mid-rise jeans offered by LL Bean. They are in fact, high-rise. Not only is the cut off, but I don't care for the BeanFlex fabric. I had a hard time finding information on what BeanFlex is when I was looking at the jeans offered. The company should include information on each kind of jean category for customers to make a clear distinction. They will be returned.

These fit is weird - huge in the thighs! They feel/look like jockey pants. Otherwise would be ok and comfortable. Definitely returning.
