They fit great and true to size. Material is quality. They don't have as much stretch as my other jeans, so if you don't like tight jeans - size up. There is no room for forgiving. They are a heavier weight - more for cooler weather. I live in Florida and would not wear in summer heat. I have other light weight jeans that are fine in summer but not these. I'll save these for cooler weather.

These are nice jeans- the advertising says they won't bag and they keep their shape. I should have perhaps bought a size smaller because they got loose on me after wearing them several times- I'm putting them in the dryer- which I never do with my other jeans- in hopes that they shrink a little

There's a lot to like about these jeans--superior construction and a nice fabric feel. I agree with other reviewers that the fit could use some tweaking. These jeans are at my waist rather than slightly below it. The biggest issue seems to be too much fabric in the thigh area for the skinny leg cut of the pants--making that area slimmer would be a big improvement. Although the jeans in the calf area fit appropriately, I would like to have an extra inch in the leg opening so I'm not peeling off my socks when I remove my jeans. With a better fit, these jeans would definitely be a 5 star item for me.

Be sure to wash these jeans separately the first time because the color really does bleed. I sent them through a rinse cycle a second time as well.

I love these jeans. They feel like they are quality, well constructed jeans. My only problem is that they are made for women with larger thighs than I have. So they are not skinny in all the places for me.

I love the material, but was disappointed in the fit. The description was that these jeans sit lower on the waist, but they come up to my belly button. Thank goodness I didn't get high rise jeans!

I've worn these jeans since they were first available - daily wear - and have multiple pairs in all colors. My recent order of light indigo did not work as the waist was smaller than my recent order of the stonewashed, which fit perfectly. The fabric is great, season-spanning and comfortable, and doesn't stretch out when worn all day. These jeans are super comfortable and breathableComfy. You can easily move around in them and not feel restricted, even though they are slim. I am quite petit so wish that the jeans came in size 0. The 2's are ok but a bit loose on me. But overall, very happy with them.

I hadn't bought jeans from LL Bean because I always thought of them as "Mom jeans". I haven't been to the mall in years and thought I would give them a try. Very happy I did! They sit slightly lower than my belly button and are perfect through the hips and thighs. Wish they were just a little bit lower so I could tuck in a blouse, but they are perfect for tunics and sweaters.

So far I am very happy with these jeans. They are comfortable, light weight, and washed well. I read where some people said the die wore off on their skin. So far that has not happened. The ankles could be a little roomier. That is why I gave only 4 stars. Note...I do not have fat ankles. I am 5'5" tall, 120 pounds, and purchased a size 8 regular.

I love these jeans! They fit perfectly and look great. The reason I didn't give 5 stars is that they ride up a little bit on my calves but nothing noticeable.

As most women would say, 'I can never find a pair of jeans that fit'. I have thin thighs, hips and butt. My stomach in the other hand keeps me from being able to wear smaller sizes. I'm 5'6" and 165 lbs. and purchased a size 12. These jeans are as close to fitting properly as I've found in a while. They still slip off my butt when bending over but not as bad as the 'mid-rise' I was wearing.

Tight on the waistline and looser on the leg. I think it's meant for ladies with thicker thighs. I have narrow hips. Great quality jeans just don't fit me quite right. I ordered petite size 2. I'm 5'2" and 112lbs

I bought a pair of these size 4 petite in the darker color and absolutely love them! I loved them so much I bought a second pair but the fit wasn't the same. Too tight in the waist even the next size up was too tight. At least I got one good pair and they are worth every penny!

Nice Denim but not nearly the stretch I hoped for. Wish the back rise were a tad more and the calf a tad wider as they do not move on my leg and my thicker muscles pull the denim uncomfortably when sitting and standing.

Quality is good. Legs are slimmer than in the photo.

Petite is the perfect length for me - I'm 5'2" and the quality of the jeans is very nice, thicker than most other brands. The waist fits well but there is extra fabric in the lower stomach area that puffs out when I sit down. Not a fan but I can fold and flatten it.

I decided to keep these skinny leg jeans even though I know the style is changing again. They are well made, the material is thicker than most other brands and I like them for walking in the New England winter, and, the length was good because I needed a medium/tall so find it harder to find in other brands. I probably would have given them a 5 if not quite so expensive.

I do LOVE the fabric. But a petite favorite fit still hits my bellybutton. These also seem to be a tad toward the "curvy" cut as the waist cut in considerably. To be truly comfy I think I'd need to go up to a 10. While we say a number is just a number, I do not even wear 8s in any other brand, just LL. I'm typically a 6/28. This is frustrating and disappointing trying to find a fit.

They are made very good but did not fit me as a skinny leg. They were too big.

I like these jeans, especially the skinny part of the leg (which overall isn't too skinny, I would like more skinny). They don't seem as skinny as the picture of the model. They seem more straight leg. I have a question that perplexes me. I wrote customer service on the online form a month and half ago, and have not had a response. These are called Bean Flex Jeans, yet the brown leather tag says 1912 jeans. The inside stamp on the pocket says Bean Flex skinny. I don't see 1912 jeans anywhere in the product description here. Did I get the correct pair of jeans? I have two pairs, both have the 1912 on the leather tab on the back belt area.

My waist has proportionately been larger than my hips all my adult life, so I've rarely been able to find Bean jeans for women that fit. Finding anything that fits my current heavier, "60 something" profile has been even more challenging. At 43 inches, my hips currently fall between sizes so I sized up hoping to accommodate my 40" waist. Because these jeans sit below the waist & have a lot of flex, they actually fit comfortably & flatter my "mature" profile! No baggy butt like other size 16 jeans I have in my drawer, & I think they'll still fit pretty well when I hit my next weight loss goal 15lbs from now.

I really wanted to like these jeans, however, I am returning them. The fabric combination is great for comfort and being cooler for summer. Kudos to LLB for this! The problem I had with them is they just did not have enough flexibility even though they are advertised as such. I was surprised these felt almost like a true denim jean with no stretch (I purchased the lightest color denim). Also, the waist hit me in and odd area and was just not comfortable-kind of right above the hip bone. 4 stars for quality and that they will probably fit some people correctly, but not me.

The best quality pair of jeans and the denim is so soft. Unfortunately the skinny cut for me was way too tight. They're not made for curvy women.
