This is the second time I've used the recommendation on size and it has been wrong. I'll use these jeans with long johns for hiking instead of sending back.

I wanted to get more of the Favorite Fit Straight-Leg jeans that I have enjoyed so much in the past, but they are no longer available and the next closest item are these jeans, which have (in the Rinsed color) stupid-looking lighter-colored streaks on the front and back. I was told by the store clerk that they were the True Shape variety, but they turned out to be BeanFlex, and this was not apparent in the labeling. If I'd known that they were BeanFlex, I would have gotten a smaller size. They have stretched.

Rise in the front was too high, made it uncomfortable to sit. Returned. Leg and thigh ease and medium tall length was good. I miss the 2017 Bean's Performance Stretch Jeans - they fit great. I jeans with lower rise that are not skinny legs.

Although I have several pair of "favorite fit" jeans these ran quite small. I was hoping for some comfortable jeans that did not cling. I guess I'll have to look elsewhere for jeans without spandex in them!

I bought these in size 12 L last year and they fit great. I recently ordered size 12 Reg length. The sizing is way off. Running much to small. Must be returned

I wanted another pair of the traditional 1912 jeans, but the employee said they have been discontinued in favor of these. I am so disappointed. These are soft and keep their shape, it is true, but I like how the regular cotton in the 1912 loosened and softened over time. These stretch more but also squeeze my body and, most uncomfortably, my lower legs, despite being straight-leg. I hope they bring back the 1912, because these are no substitute for regular, old jeans. LLBean, are you paying attention? You have made several big changes over the last few years, and I haven't liked any of them. Shopping with you used to be a unique experience-- lots of classic clothes combined with lots of outdoors clothes. Vivid colors (like cherry red), a variety of dresses, a few elegant pieces, more New England flair. You used to be my go-to store, as much as I could afford it, and now shopping with you is no different from shopping at your biggest competitor. If I wanted to shop at the competitor, I'd go there. I want to shop at the former Bean. Guess I'm going to have to search for secondhand LLBean items, until you return to your best self.

Had I been a size smaller than the size I ordered I would have given the jeans a rated score of 5. The jeans I received were the perfect color, but the fit was a size smaller than the one I ordered--even though the inside label gave the fit as the size I'd ordered. This isn't the first time this has happened. Rather than throw them out, however, I'm returning them. Hopefully, my next order of jeans my size will actually be the correct size.

I just bought these jeans and tried on - the material is very soft and flexible, length seems right, legs are nice and straight but the sizing at the waist seems off. I ordered Psize4 (my usual) and could hardly get the waist buttoned. Yikes! Is it an LLBean sizing thing or just these jeans? I wouldn't recommend them unless you're 95 pds.

The sizing is way off. I always wear a size 6 LL Bean jeans/pants and this pair was probably 2 sizes too small. I returned them and did not reorder.

Been buying the same size in LL Bean jeans for years, not sure why these (the correct size) were so tight.

very slim cut for me, like wearing skinny jeans or leggings. The sizing was good around. I wish they still made the favorite fit in the true fit styles, those fit perfect and so comfortable. Sorry, they were returned.

Returned these, as there was a major gap in the back of the waistband.

These jeans took over three months to arrive. Even with our wonky postal system, that's absurd. As well, the write-up for them said that they were light weight. Nope. Not even close. They're heavier than my three-season jeans. So much for summer weight. To top it all off, they're made in Mexico. Now, I think Mexico's a lovely country, but what happened to Made in the USA? LL Bean WAS the quintessential American company. Their quality has gone down the tubes, their customer service is almost non-existent, and their delivery system needs some serious upgrading. You simply got too big, LL Bean. You've lost this 40+ years customer.

Disappointed in the fit. I don't want to feel "poured in" to my pants. While these are "straight leg" they are about 1" narrower than I would like. I want a bit of stretch, but not to be forced to stretch! I have other straight legs from LL Bean where the "spacing" on my legs is just right, but there is no stretch. I want just a bit stretch, for ex, when I bend my knees. Hip fit is fine, waste is fine, so going up a size would not do it.

Returned this item, the tencel softness was not felt and the size seemed to be too small, more like a 10 and not the 12 I ordered.

I found these jeans to be very small. I returned these I ordered the next size up and even they were to small...and no, I do not have a covid weight gain.

I used the size chart. I measured. I ordered my size. Guess what? They don't fit properly. Which is hard to do considering all the spandex. I bought them for a trip that was postponed and missed the return window. Now I need to find a 6 foot "size 14" (12 in actuality) woman to bestow them on. Hopefully they will derive more satisfaction from them than I did.

The product runs small. I purposely bought it in a larger size based on previous customer ratings. The length however was not true to size either which I did not expect. This product also runs short.

Hi, I bought the straight leg flex jeans last year in a 10MT and they fit perfectly. I recently ordered the straight leg flex jeans in stone wash 10MT and could tell just by looking at them that they were too small. They were at least one size, if not two, too small in the waist and hips. I was confused so put the ones I bought last year back on for comparison and they are definitely not the same size. I will return these but am hesitant to buy a size up because clearly the sizing is inconsistent. Surprised so many said these are true to size.

I was very disappointed at the small, inaccurate fit. Wanted jeans with the lighter color and with Tencel. Used the size guide to select the size 6 but have to return them. The 6 was small overall and especially in the waist.

I've never tried these jeans before, but they looked exactly like what I wanted. I had originally ordered these in April for a western trip I was taking in June. After being backordered for about 4 months, I was finally happy to receive them. I ordered a size 14 (my regular size) but as soon as I opened the package and before I tried them on I could tell they were too small. I returned them and ordered a size 16. They arrived in a timely manner, and these too are a little on the small side. I am keeping them, but there is certainly something wrong with the sizing of these jeans, and LL Bean should look into this. I see others have had the same problem.

I bought these earlier this year, and loved them. So I ordered another pair. By that time, they were backordered. I waited from April to September. Finally got them. They were cut so differently from my other pair that I actually pulled up the order to make sure I got it right. I did...Bean didn't. One of the best parts about Bean is the consistency...good quality, and sizing stays true. Except in this case. The waist on these is 1.25 inches smaller than my existing pair. Makes me question future orders.

These jeans want Sooo much to be leggings. I really didn't want leggings or even slim leg pants, but there you have it. I would have preferred a relaxed fit, especially through the thighs. And the fabric isn't very rugged. So, I am still looking for my next pair of perfect jeans from LL Bean. I really miss your Easy Stretch line. Would have purchased a whole closet full if I had known it was to be discontinued.

these jeans were sent back. I ordered a 16 just because my size 14 was getting a little tight. The size 16 was smaller around the waist then my old size 14 also they were way to long even tho I ordered a petite. I t seems that everything I order lately just does not fit and I am going by LL Bean measurements.
