I ordered my normal size 10. This style was way too tight in the thigh, looked like it was sprayed on, but baggy in the lower leg. Fabric is slimy, flimsy, just plain icky, only 69% cotton. If online info had disclosed fabric included Tencel, I would never have ordered it.

I have a whole closet full of OLD LL Bean jeans that I love. Ask with all things, they wear out over time so it was time to order new. These jeans...I can't call real denim. It's a weird, stretchy material and I ordered stone washed but these came dark blue. They didn't even lighten up a little bit when I washed them. I can not order through mail again. When I do get replacement jeans, I will be at a store with the merchandise IN HAND so that I'll know that it's the product I want. I can't afford to keep ordering 3 or 4 pairs of jeans that are not my style and I won't wear out. In fact, I'm planning on wearing a pair for a painting project so it won't be a complete waste of money.

These had faded out knees and the top front of pants had dye stripes. The description of the pants doesn't match what I was sent. Very disappointed

I did not like the fabric. It feels like rubber. I love the favorite fit jeans I usually buy. Cotton with just a touch of flex. But they are out of stock.

Not sized correctly. I am 5'6" and the regular length was too short. I weigh 130# and the waist was too tight (I always order size 10).

I ordered these jeans because LLBean has discontinued my normal size that I have ordered in the past. I ordered my normal size that I wear all the time. This particular jean was too small in the waist by about 4 inches and very tight in the legs. It seems every time I find something that fits and I like it is discontinued. Needless to say these will be returned to company and maybe in the future they will bring back the ones I liked, but very doubtful .

Unfortunately these jeans are made from fabric that sheds tiny fibers. I turned my new jeans inside out to wash before wearing and could see the tiny fiber balls all over inside the jeans, looks like fiber balls or lint. The fibers cling to everything else in the laundry load. I've had experience with this before, and the fabric will keep shedding, it will shed on your skin, clothes, and throughout your house. I don't think it is healthy to breathe these fibers, I can't imagine how bad it is for the workers in the factory that makes this fabric. Great looking jeans but I don't recommend buying them. Whoever does fabric quality control earned a big Fail on this product.

The mid rise was way too high. Straight leg was very wide, baggy and trouser-like. Probably the most unflattering and uncomfortable jeans I've ever bought.

I misread the description. These jeans are not what I want at all. They are made with stretchy fabrics. Was I confusing these jeans with another product description? I don't know. All I know is that LLBean once carried wonderful women's jeans and pants and you no longer carry them. Why have you discontinues 98% cotton 2% other materials? You carry 100% cotton men's jeans but not women's. Why is that?

I ordered the same style and size, but a different rinse, 6 months ago. What happened to the sizing? These are awful and I will not order jeans again from you. So sad, since the first one was just perfect and I thought I found a new favorite.

Size was totally off -- I bought size 18 and would be surprised if the jeans fit a size 14.

With the help of a saleswoman, I selected them at the tyson's corner store and ordered them in a different color. They fit perfectly in the store but were much too small when they arrived in the right color six weeks later. I liked the fabric very much.

Thought these were the same as the last straight leg favorite fit jeans I had purchased. Those were 99% cotton. These are not. In fact it turns out that they don't even carry any jeans for women that are all cotton anymore. Not really a fan of "Bean Flex". Disappointed. I returned them.

They weren't at all like the ll Bean jeans I purchased 2 years ago. The legs were really tight. Actually the whole fit was small and it was the same style name, at least, that I bought before. Even if I bought a bigger size, they were not what I was expecting. I returned them.

These jeans are the worst pair of jeans I ever bought or tried to wear. The fabric is unforgiving and made me miserable in my mid-section. I will be returning these jeans to the store with the note - "misery."

Waited over 4 months for these jeans that were nothing like the same ones I ordered previously. Sizing was way off. Don't bother purchasing these jeans.

I bought a size 10. I am usually an 8. I would have needed at least a 14 in these jeans. There was a 2 inch gap at the zipper closing. Legs were so snug I could hardly pull them on. Very frustrating! I am 5'8" and 150 pounds.

Like many of the other commenters, I had purchased a pair of these jeans a few years ago and loved the way they fit. So much so, that I ordered another pair back in April 2021. They were backordered many times, and finally I received them in September, 2021. They are SO SMALL! Not at all like the previous pair I had ordered, although they are the same style and size. LL Bean had better get their factories in order, because there was definitely a mistake made in the manufacturing of these jeans. Sending them back today for a refund, and still searching for jeans that fit.

As others have mentioned, these are MUCH smaller than the ones sold just last year. In addition, the waist is higher too - I'm very disappointed because these had been the only mid-rise jeans I've been able to find lately.

Perhaps I should have scrutinized the picture in the listing more carefully, but I was taken in by the "straight leg" in the description, which to me means not tapered and not tight. I ordered these because they had the Favorite Fit waist, which is hard to find in Bean's straight leg jeans since the 1912 style was discontinued. However, when I received them, I found that the legs were quite narrow. I have fairly slim legs, but when I sat down in these pants I felt as though my circulation was cut off at the knees. I am returning them, and I guess I will have to live with a higher waistline to get actual straight leg pants. Very disappointed.

I've had three or four other pairs of Bean Flex jeans in size 4 and they all fit nicely, or were slightly big. This pair, which I order in May but which just arrived this week due to being backordered, are way too small. I compared them to an identical pair that I got last year, and the new ones are at least two inches smaller in the waist and hips. They're great jeans but the sizing is way off now. After waiting four months for these jeans, I now must return them.
