Fits nicely, true to size. I don't like super tight jeans. The material allows from some stretch which improves the fit and feel. Happy with purchase.

Good jeans for the right body. Good quality. The waist is higher than I like but they're fine for chores.

Love these jeans, unfortunately sizes are not consistent. First pair was perfect, ordered the second pair; unfortunately it was shorter length than the first pair.

Firstly, I like the material, it's smooth, soft, and there's a nice thickness to them. I made it to an LL Bean store last weekend and tried them on in person. I first tried my usual size (14) and they were a little too snug in the waist, but perfect in the hips and thighs so I went up to a 16. Frankly, the 16 had maybe 1 inch difference in the waist but they still fit nicely in the hips and thighs. I don't feel these jeans are straight leg, more like slim leg, which works for me because my legs and butt are slimmer than my waistline. Also, these jeans come up way too high (an inch above my belly button) to be considered Favorite Fit. If you can, at all possible, try them on at the store, I'd recommend that. If not, order a couple sizes to get the right fit. Oh, and I wish these weren't so expensive.

Good fit of the jeans, but they have a fairly strong chemical smell that did not completely disappear after washing

Great fit. I'm pretty curvy. Nice color. We'll constructed. Too expensive.

Waist is too tight, everything else was a great fit. Most older women do not have a small waist, it would be great to see pants with all these features along with a flexible waist.

Over the years I've purchased many jeans from L.L. Bean. The fabric of these are far better than earlier versions of stretch jeans. Now, if only the pockets were deep enough.

After trying the Classic Fit jeans, I was able to find a wonderful alternative -- Favorite Fit. I found the Classic Fit much too baggy in the seatfor my taste. Enter Favorite Fit which are much more fitted through hips and seat. I'm very pleased with the fit of these jeans and recommend them in both the Straight Leg and more tapered cut. Highly recommended.

I'd ordered a "favorite fit" pair of jeans from LL Bean a couple of years ago, had to return them because they were not the "fit" I remembered from my old jeans (which I still have). These new ones fill the bill--just the right balance of stretch and tailoring. The weight of the fabric is not too heavy or thin, and I like the way the waist fits--snug but not binding.

I really liked these jeans, especially the wider waist band. The only thing is I wish there was a 33' inseam. I ordered the MT with a 32" inseam & it'd be great to have a T with a 33' inseam.

Have purchased this variety and size before but these seem to be cut a bit differently.

The funny thing about these jeans is I ordered a size smaller from the ones I ordered earlier in the year and the country of origin or manufacture was different Needless to say the Jean was also slightly different from the original . Disappointing but I'll keep them

This is a good standard jean. Because it has material other than cotton, one needs to use the dryer or the jeans are a bit scratchy on one's body.

Good heavy Jean, I like the fit and how they are made as far as the zipper and pockets. I feel though, that the pant legs are wider than a straight leg. The opening is too big, they are too baggy down by my feet. Other than that, they are awesome. I am 5'7" and 205 ibs. I got size 18 ML.

These jeans are a bit snug on me and also too long. However, I have a difficult time finding petite jeans that I like.

Based on other reviews I bought size 8P and 10P. The 8P fits and looks the best except a little tight at the waist but I've got a few winter pounds to lose. Returned the 10P.

I had to return my normal size 8 and get a 10. Size 10 is a bit large in the waist so they ride down. Otherwise , fit is good.

Good fit. Jeans are made of a heavier material than I prefer! Great LL Bean quality though.

The color faded after one washing. They don't look very dressy anymore.

I ordered these in two colors, rinsed and stonewashed. I'm returning the rinsed pair because they're slightly tighter, stiffer, and less comfortable overall. I'm ordering a second pair in stonewashed.

Not a flattering or comfortable fit for me. The material is so and so. I bought a pair of Bean flex jeans a couple of years ago I still wear them occasionally, they seem a little different.

I am 5'7", 136 lbs. I ordered a size 8 which fits well around the waist, but is baggy in belly and butt area. The leg fit and length are perfect. They wash and dry well and are very comfortable.
