I had a pair of ghosts I bought 10 years ago or so and they were the most comfortable running shoes I've owned. I bought this pair expecting the same, but for some reason there is a hard piece of plastic or something in the back heel part. There's no give and the first time I wore them I got blisters on the back of my heels. I'm highly disappointed, because otherwise they are perfect and extremely comfortable. Because that rigid piece is in there, I worry that even with wear they'll still cause friction on the heel.

These are not nearly as comfortable as the Ghost 13s! I'm so sad! (I have a pair of the 14s as well, but the 13s were absolute perfection, in my opinion.) I'm returning these because they are just too uncomfortable. I walked around my house in them for a bit when they arrived and I found them painful. I've never had to break a pair of Brooks in before - they're always so comfortable right out of the box! The front part of the shoe is more narrow than past versions and the sole is not as soft and cushiony as past versions either. (And as a side note: the color of the sole is silver, not light pink like they look online.

Really wanted to love these shoes & was intrigued by the reviews, but after a short 3 mile run the soles of my feet were killing me. Tried them on the treadmill & had the same pain. My feet hurt as I'm typing this. I am usually a Brooks Glycerin girl, so perhaps this wasn't the right shoe for me. Even a long walk leaves my feet hurting. Overall, pretty disappointing unfortunately!

Toes are going numb with repeated use. Fit ia perfect, so not sure why.

It's a nice-looking shoe. But the shoe is just too hard. After wearing it for just a little time, the bottom of my feet were sore and I felt like I had a bruised heel. No cushioning at all.

I have 2 other pair of ghosts and loved them . This new version I feel a lump in my arch I had to send them back. I ordered the Gylcerin and they are doing great.

I think it is good shoe but it does not help with my feet type. I have flat wide feet and planters fasciitis, so the shoe caused more pain

I was disappointed with the Ghost 15. It didn't have as much cushion as I thought it would have . It wasn't very comfortable and I'm hoping as I wear it , it will get more comfortable . It feels hard . For the price and the reviews I read I expected it to feel better than it did .

This will be my last pair. I've run in them for 8+ years but no more. I've finally had it with the 12mm drop, . There were a couple years when they sported awesome barrel laces that never came untied, unlike the flat ones that do . Two stars is the best I can do for my fair well review.

It is generally an excellent shoe, except that the toe box is way too narrow and tight. I don't understand why they make shoes that are more pointy than people's actual feet.
I'd also recommend:

I've worn 5-6 different versions of Ghosts. I had to return these shoes. The inside of both toe boxes got creased and was digging in my big toe.
I did like the updated heel/Achilles cushioning.

I ordered the Coral/Black/Blue and it is WAY MORE neon that the photo shows. People tell me all day that they look like a construction cone and that I could flag traffic. These are not really coral at all. They are very orange.

After a lot of research on the web I really thought the ghost 15 would relieve my plantar fasciitis at least a little bit but there was really no change

Not good running shoes for me. I should have stayed with the glycerin. The ghost hurt my feet.

Did not enjoy the "road feel" in these - felt like I was running on blocks of wood strapped to my feet. Probably just me. I love Brooks, and will continue to purchase from them, just not this pair of shoes.

Shoes fit great. But the photo online they look gray and black. When I received them they were white and black. Where I work at the white won't stay clean.

The Ghost 15 is not as absorbent as the Ghost 14 and earlier versions. I held them up side by side and you can easily see that the cushion is smaller on the 15 than the 14. I've run in the 15's three times now, and could feel the difference (sorer legs/joints); the 15's are now my "only on the treadmill" shoes. Disappointing, as I've been running in Brooks' Ghosts for years. I hope they return to the same level of cushion and support they used to have.

Outsole is excessively wearing after a 100 miles on sidewalks and light gravel trails. Outsole appears not to be very durable.

I returned these. I love Ghosts and Brooks but I reallllllly do not like the color choices they have for the wide shoe runner. I tried. I really wanted to like these but allllll the fun colors are for the regular show wearer. Sigh. I bought Hokas instead
