Wide width has a very narrow toe width! Pinches toes, very uncomfortable.

I run outdoors, train and do high impact aerobics (Les Mills Bodyattack and other Les Mills programs). The heel is extremely clunky and chunky. The shoe has absolutely zero lateral support. I have worn other Saucony running shoes for the same activities and have not experienced these types of problems. On multiple occasions my foot has slid off the shoe bed (when doing lateral drills) and because the sole is so high I could feel stress on my ankles. I had to remove these shoes during a class because my heels kept slipping around in the shoe. Don't even bother doing a single squat in these shoes they will rock you forward as you come out of the squat. I paid a substantial amount for the runners and am currently limited to using them for outdoor road and track running but am very cautious when changing directions.

I love how this shoes give me great cushion for my feet but the fabric is poorly made. I already had 2 pairs in 2 year and the fabric on the side keeps reaping.

For me this was the worst version they have made. Have been using the Shift for a couple of years, and was able to run and walk pain free. I needed to replace the two pair that I was switching between. I purchased these thinking they would be similar to the previous version, and they were not. This version has way too much cushion under the foot that is too soft for me, and caused hip, knee and foot pain after the first use. I tried them a few more times with the same result, in between I went back to my old shoes, older version of the Shift, and was pain free. I would not recommend these, unless you can try them before you purchase, or can return after a few runs if they don't work for you.
